Aww, this reminds me of Pikmin! I love that concept! The design of the device is so creative. Great job bringing such a fun idea to life!

It looks amazing! Though unfortunately, when I'm trying to launch it, it launches as desktop app and not within SteamVR. I'd welcome some advice, so I can try it.

@jellyfishhunter It's likely to do with the default OpenXR provider not being set to SteamVR, open up the SteamVR settings and go into the OpenXR tab, check if it's set to SteamVR there.

Hope that helps!

I've tried again today and got it to work. Something must've been wrong with my permissions. Unfortunately I didn't come far since my tiny creatures got launched into the floor and disappeared :( 20241011193222_1.jpg

I blame my setup with the Vive Pro 2 and enjoy your video instead.

Very nice. The creatures were super cute, and I love what you did with the controllers. It felt a well polished experience. Unfortunately I had to abandon the third level because they refused to break down the penultimate wall. They were fairly good at recovering from getting stuck but often just give up on building bridges or decide to mine rocks from the opposite side of the map.

I just checked your video, I didn't realise you could pick up them up. The instructions were also unclear on selection as it does not mention using the triggers and there is no visual indicator on whether they are selected. Perhaps their antenna could glow or something.

The game freezing for half a second whenever a bridge segment was placed was not nice. It would have been good to have a faster way to move around the map. Dragging was somewhat slow on the larger levels, and on the Index controller it is very easy to grab unintentionally as it is a proximity sensor rather than a button.

I loved the big chompy animation on the monsters, though was a bit disappointed at how easy they were to murder. I baited the one in the first level away with a tasty creature and found a safe spot standing on top of the rock pile.

Really nice graphics, liked the art work and couldn't actually get the creatures to do anything, could be my setup being an OG vive

Finally I got around to this game. And I'm glad that I did. This was amazing! I had some performance issues when building the bridges, but it wasn't too bad. And I was a bit confused, when I got new critters that disappeared again at soon as they landed. I only made it half way through level 2, but I had a lot of fun. I had to figure out the controls, I didn't really understand the help screen, but I figured it out. Fantastic modelling and fun gameplay!

My favorite VR game in this Jam so far! I loved the camera movement system, especially how you could pull yourself down to the ground level and follow your minions carrying the huge brown statue. The controls took a bit of time to get used to - I think it would help to iinclude a picture of your minion on the help screen, because I was trying to contol the big brown monster at first :P Also, I think it would help if currently selected minions would be highlighted somehow (like with a circle beneath them or something). The funniest part of the game was when the minion were carrying the Bronze Statue across the bridge in the first level, stumbled upon the rocks left by other minions and fell down in the river, instantly dying xD Overall, a very enjoyable puzzle!
