I missed some sounds for the shooting but I guess that it could be too much with many turrets :-P
Other than that I liked the experience and the difficulty (not too easy, not too difficult) Good job!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD56 → The cylinder invasion: You better be in good shape

Thanks so much for the review and your time, @island-jam-2-group-3!
Exterminate
Love the Daleks lol, my main criticism would be the lack of variety in tower types. It might have been interesting to see common tower defense buildings like slowing towers, burn damage, etc, however for a solo jam game I can respect what you've put together! I thought it was cute and enjoyed the humour from the narrator/announcer.
Thanks for the tips, @scrumblob! My initial idea was to design about four kind of turrets, but in the end, I just have time to implement two turrets, the scale reducer and the slowing one. Thank you so much for playing it!
Loved the creative concept and humor! The difficulty was well-balanced, and I really enjoyed the experience. Adding more turret types could make it even better. Gj!
Obviously, it would be cool to have more turret types, more maps and so on. But we all understand jam time constraints and necessity to cut down our glorious plans  What is in the game is well-made, works without a hitch and is fun to play.
The concept of shrinking down enemies is unique and imaginative. And I'm a sucker for a good Doctor Who reference. So what is left to say but: Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!
I have one suggestion to controls: would be nice to allow switching of the turrets not only by a key press but also by a mouse click. I found myself not once trying to switch them exactly like this, when my mouse cursor was just closeby.
Thanks @nazariglez and @fabula-rasa for the tips! If I expand a bit the game in the future, I would like to implement int! And to be honest, even when I was testing the game, I tended to click the UI icon, so you're absolutely right, @fabula-rasa!
nicely done! a classic tower defense. I liked the concept! just a tip make the enemies on a separate layer or disable raycast target for them so you can still place towers even if enemies are obstructing the player's view I had some trouble like this but rarely :D
Fun game, would love variety of towers, enemies (aka beans) and so much more but we understand concepts of jams and time constrain. Was enjoyable to watch those beans shrink down.
Framerate on level 2 was really bad tho :D
I had fun, but felt like the big ~~daleks~~ turrets weren't worth it, so just built loads and loads of small ones. Good job.
Great game! I missed some sound effects for the shooting, but I enjoyed the balanced difficulty. More turret types would be awesome! Overall, a fun experience. Good job! 🎮
Really could. It would greatly benefit from other types of turrets to deepen the tactical aspect.
Also, real question, ¿Are the enemies blazing fast?¿Or is this a high fps issue?
Fun classic tower defence game, excellent work all round :)
Cool tower defense take, I liked the Daleks :)
Thanks eveyone for the tips, and for playing it! @chusmimax the yellow ones should be really fast, but not the other ones, athough their speed shouldn't be affected by the frame rate... I will check it! Again, thanks everyone!
A tower defense game with ~~Daleks~~ generic, copyright-free robots is a really cool idea actually. Their shape fits the purpose very well, and they come in various forms and colors.
Towers themselves looked nice, but the enemies and the environment appeared a bit plain. Gameplay wasn't anything too special, but it functioned well enough. An overall solid execution, or should I say: X, termination (hehhhehhe... :skull_crossbones:)
