Oh, funny, I like it❤️
I cant seem to place any turrets, also it seems you can only place them when winter starts so my guys mine and gather the whole summer and are then terrorized by the spiders for eternity :( The environment is beautiful and i like the cute **tiny creatures**.
Funny and beautiful well done
I like the art to this game :)
you have very cool art, i like it! good job
Hey there! I ran the game and I'm a bit confused as to whether it's running properly. First I have no audio, then when I start I have a message saying one of my guy is dead:

That didn't prevent me from dragging my guys onto their jobs. They worked all summer and then winter came, they all went inside their house. A bunch of spiders arrived but then when winter stopped the spiders never left and the workers never came back: 2024-10-08 18_28_11-LudumDare56.png
I was pretty much stuck in this state. The description refers to a menu and game map? How to open them?
Those difficulties aside, the animations looked cute and the graphics were quite nice. I'm sure it's just broken on my PC.
I was far to emotionally invested in my peasants before nightfall. I now understand my mistake. Great work!
Well I wouldn't say it's unplayable, because I could in fact play it, but yes, would love to try again after the bug fixes :) I really like the visuals and the lighting, it looks cute and inviting, nice to look at.
My villagers worked hard and got a lot of resources, so they survived the winter, but enemies stayed outside even in summer and villagers couldn't come out, I suppose. So that's basically when game ended for me :')
Also, didn't hear any audio at all. Is it one of the known bugs?
Overall, I think it's a cute idea. I liked games made by some members of your team during previous jams a lot, and this one it quite different in atmosphere and general feeling, but I like it too. Hopefully you'll polish it so we can try the game how it was intended <3
I have no idea how you did it in such a short time. Hats off, guys
@iaroslavik @winic @anton4ik-dev @cam-moore @kama @winter2277 @jared-saizdelamora @kanity @tom-ahawk Thank you for all your kind workds !! :blush:
We just posted a new **post-jam** version if you want to give it a try even if it still far from perfect :frog:
@kanity thank you very much, it's such a pleasure to see you play all our games !! Yes we were more ambitious for this one, and we tried to create something different from usual, it was a bit difficult for us. We didn't have time to put the audio during the jam unfortunately, but you can try the post-jam version :musical_score:
The art and characters are so cute!
Cute concept, would be great if each critter had their own specialization so there was improvements to each assignment. A fast forward option would also be nice as there's a lot of waiting around once you assign a critter.
The game is visually charming with beautiful art!
The game is so fun but a little bit hard. Nice job guys !
Edit: Finally it's fucking easy lol
Very good job! Not easy to survive at first, but your game is very cool and fun! I would have liked to see a final boss, but it’s only a detail!
The game is so good! the visuals, the game design, the music - everything is really good for jam game!
There's a lot of cool ideas here! The controls and interface make it difficult to really engage with the mechanics though. I wish I could pan the camera with the keyboard (and turn off edge-scrolling, which didn't work properly on my 2-monitor setup) and I could see the costs of things without having to have a worker dragged in hand.
All that is very fixable in a post-jam build though! Overall a very good submission!
this is such a fun concept! the character designs were the cutest
A fun little resource management game with a lovely atmosphere and visuals. The ending was pretty unsatisfying, it felt like I did everything I could to defend my creatures (built a tower in every space) but they still eventually died anyway. If I was given a score when I eventually failed it would have just felt like an arcade game but in the absence of that it should probably be possible for the player to win if they survive enough rounds. It would also be nice to be able to mouse over the different buildings and find out how much they cost without having to have a villager in your hand.
really like animations and assets. The transition to winter was instant and took me super by surprise! On day 1 I managed to build a guard tower *just* and had lots of food yet one of my crtters died, sads. Lovely atmosphere and enjoyable gameplay loop though! On the night I lost I had all towers up but still failed. The last 2 of my towers (the first 2 I ever bought) died in 1 or 2 hits. It would be nice if they were repaired at the end of each winter or if there was a way to repair them suring the summer?
Very neat, love it! Gameplay loop is satisfying, overall visually pleasing, animations and texturing are really nice! a very cozy game!
Amazing amount of work for the timespan considered. The graphics are of course beautiful and together with the game mechanics they fit the theme really well. Great work!
I love the setting and the artwork, it looks like a very mature game on the screen! Camera movement and dragging characters sometimes clash and give me the feeling that the picture is dangling, my turret defeated the first round of spiders, but it seems to be over here, looking forward to more content!
Interesting interpretation of tower defense and I really like it! At all I think you might add zoomout and speedup options, couz its to slow when you understend how to play. Great work!
the presentation is great, I like the designs and I also liked how it sets the mood effectively. The winter feels appropriately harsh especially with the added fact that some villagers may die of starvation,
I liked the tower defense gameplay and this is a pretty creative way to contextualize it, there was a point where the game got too hard and the towers weren't enough to defend from the enemies anymore
great entry!
