Congrats on making your first game in Godot!
I liked this one. The car physics are funny and enjoyable. If it didn't get stuck on sloping areas, it would be great. You also can't feel the height a bit. Overall I liked the game, there is also potential for development after the jam. You can come up with a lot of cool things if you keep going! Here is bros swimming)BrosSwimming.png
Good game, although the controls are not very convenient and it is quite good anyway
Nice car physics, took me a minute to get used to it all. Nice game overall though!!
Reminds me of the old GTA games like GTA and GTA 2 when you're creating havok in the Ice Cream Truck. Nice little game, congrats!
I just wanted to run over the gnomes the whole time.
This gave me crazy taxi style vibes. I had a hard time getting across the water. Seems the gnomes don't care when I'm honking  Congrats on your submission
Even though everyone knows they don't exist There is a certain pleasure in running over them Congratulations on your game

i was a happy truck, bouncing, honking and banging into gnomes until i noticed the arrow to my destination :D
Kinda chaotic and fun! The only thing that's missing is dome kind of progression or maybe just fail/win states. But the time in compo is realy harsh, especially when is't your first time with the engine :green_heart:
Very pretty graphics, although I did find the flat background quite difficult to navigate as it was difficult to see the slopes and water depth - also made me feel a bit motion sick weirdly!
The sound is also very nice, makes the game feel complete - you didn't really leave anything out even with the compo constraints!
I also found the controls a bit difficult (I think I was expecting 'steering' controls where W accelerates you and A/D turn you left/right). Coupled with the short 'look-ahead' distance I often found myself running into a gnome that I didn't really feel I had any chance to avoid.
Really impressive compo entry though (especially as a first time using godot) it feels very complete!
(Also before quitting the game I went on a mad gnome killing spree racking up loads of debt and that was fun too :P)
Funny and a bit weird. Had fun playing it. Could have used an end goal, or perhaps a way to lose. But overall a pretty well made compo game. Well done.
Tricky driving, but: I think that's what made it. The controls are interesting enough too that once I figured them out, it became part of the game. You got in quite a bit of polish, and setting up any physics-based game takes a lot of time tweaking these parameters so I appreciate it. Great work!
I like how the truck leans precariously as it corners. I think I racked up too much debt to come back from before fully understanding anything. Thought I had to run over the gnomes.....
It's kinda weird. Driving the truck is really fun and enjoyable... I actually had more fun driving through the gnomes than fulfilling the actual deliveries
You should have probably used a different color than yellow for the indicator of the place where you need to deliver your cargo, and eventually make that indicator bigger as it gets lost in the truck itself.
Cool idea!
