Oh no :( 4.2 seconds until victory :D Game was too small on 4k display I didn't understood how to summon (right click, but they are attacking my own towers!)
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD55 → Telefrag Trouble

This is fun! I do feel like it could have better contrast; it's hard to see where enemies are, as they blend into the background. And I like the loop where being inaccurate makes the game harder!
Hi!
It's a nice, but a slightly confusing game :) At the beginning I thought that I needed to summon creatures to break the twers as fast as possible. Then I saw a game over window and was very suprised. At the second time I didn't use summoning at all and beat the game.
I like the idea of summomning creatures that are not really your allies to fight each other. I just think that it seems a lot easier to just telefrag them so the choice of monster you summon has no impact anymore. would love t see a version where it's actually best to have them fight eachother and have to try to make the battles as close as possible to ensure everyone dies^^
Easy game with summoning, lack of boosters/upgrades or enemy waves. Good for entry
Nice concept, but it was easier to just telefrag the creatures compared to balancing the battle.
Oh lol I was a bit confused after reading the comments, because I beat the game but didn't see any 'summoning' happen? Turns out I played it in a non-intended way: killing enemies instantly by clicking on them haha. Anyways, had fun playing it, well done!
Is it supposed to look like this? Screenshot 2024-04-21 124823.png
I think the character art is cute but it's too small to see. Sometimes the monsters fought each other (i think?) and sometimes they attacked my cities and sometimes they just exploded, I wasn't really sure what was going on. The sprites are cute though!
I think I died with 50+ seconds remaining in all my attempts XD
@cheesepencil Thanks for playing. On my display the text is in the top corners, so I think my Godot camera skills could do with some improvement. The A """I""" is essentially attack the nearest tower unless an enemy of the opposite type is close enough, then attack them. If you summon an enemy on top of another, they both die (as @wouterk12 did). I made all the sprites myself with very little experience, so thanks for the feedback :)
Nice simple concept, has a very classic feel to it. Good job!
A cool little game. Of course I would have liked to hear music and sfxs, to improve the mood. Not sure what the monsters were supposed to be but they made me think of Kaijus attacking a city. It's a simple game but it works, so good job!
Simple and fun. I overall liked it.
