It was really interesting testing out all the combinations, a little hard to keep track of sometimes but that might have been fixed if I used the note more. Overall really fun, good job!

This was a fun play! You can be proud of finishing this first game!

I like these point and click kinda games, and it's fun to try out combinations. I think when you summon the cross icon is too big and flash and I though I had to click it whenever I summon something, so it would be nice if it would be a bit more clear what it does. I like the general humor of the game and demon summoner seems like a 'hell' of a job! Keep up the good work!

It is very cool that the interactives are illuminated, it is much more convenient to navigate in the space quite deep (as it seemed to me) game with combinations, interesting

Cool narrative game with its own magic system! Haven't finished it yet, but most likely will come back to play more. The texts are well-written - it's easy to immerse oneself in the role of a demon summoner)

rly cool, i like it

Now this is the type of business I would like to have! Very simple concept but really fun to try all the combinations!

I also love how the left side is more mystical and has pros and cons while on the right side you can just throw a phone or some money haha.

I think you could add like a small wiki instead of post it notes. If you decide to continue the game of course.

It was a very interesting idea and you managed to pull it off in an amazing way! Really nice game! Enjoy it a lot!

Good range of gameplay depth and the story and immersiveness is icing on the cake. Impressive for a solo jam game. I liked that you have tutorialization and a hint system and intuitive gameplay. The ending was a bit hard for a lazy gamer.

Overall a really cool idea! I had to play around a bit to figure out that you need to navigate back to the laptop with the demon present in order to send it out, so that gave me a bit of a headache but once I did figure it out it was easy going. Good job on your first Game Jam game!

Reminds of old-school flash games. Very nostalgic!

Cool concept. Could not fit the theme better

You are really great! The game turned out great!

Very impressive for a first jam! I would have liked to have a tutorial more implicit (less the mails explicitely telling me what to do for each demon, specially since I'm supposed to be the expert), something like the notes is nice (the possibility to write in one, while not super usable, is a very nice touch) but something that felt more like investigating and figuring out in combination (more escape-room-like). Apart from that I was very surprised to see that the real game was less hand holdy, very nice job!

nice concept, lot of potentional to scaling :) congrats with your first Jam, well done!

denkithegamer 2024-04-17 19:23

Good game, I think this can become even better if you continue to work on it!

Thank you for all the kind words! I hear all your feedback and suggestions, and hope my game designing skills will grow further!

Great job with this! The email conversations really add a lot to the setting and I like how they act as hints for the summoning 'recipe'. Feels like a good old point and click!

colinweiss 2024-04-21 12:11

Matches the theme :)

Wow the mechanics here were really interesting. At first I thought it would be helping your dad out and I was like "this is easy" but that was just the tutorial. It's cool how expansive everything is. I like the flavor added to all the emails. One of the more fun jam games I've played this time. I think the sticky notes are cool, but there could be a more intuitive way for the player to reference what everything does, or maybe a way to make my own notes. I guess I could just write stuff down irl but i feel it should be in-game. Other than that I feel like the demons could also have unique art based on their abilities. That could be cool, but understandable for a quick jam game. Also sounds or a background track would be cool.

@themixedmaster Thanks for the feedback! There is actually a way to make notes, on the top-left always yellow note
