It wouldn't start for me, but the graphics and idea look nice! Hope you still had fun in the process.

it seems that the embed game is not working and the itch.io link is "404"...
Web versions are not working completely. The PC version works, but in a small window (I have 2560x1600px monitor). Game looks very nice. Polished graphics. But the attack system doesn't work so I would like to see how would it work when complete. I love the music, really nice! Graphics + SFX + music goes very well together. Also I would like the idea that the battlefield could change based on the monsters attacks. gameplay.png

The art style is amazing! I like the gameplay idea too.
Yeah none of the web versions are currently working it seems. I did download the game anyway because the pixel art looked cute. Despite the basic attacking feature not being there yet I can see where you guys were going with this. I think I'd definitely enjoy this game if it was finished and maybe a simple AI opponent was implemented. Both the visuals and the audio are amazing though, well done!
Unfortunately, the itch.io link currently returns 'We couldn't find your page.' Hopefully, this will be fixed in the future. I enjoyed the game concept! Great job.
This soundtrack is killer! Nice work!

really nice concept. cute artstyle, banger soundtrack. i would play the finished game
Looks and sounds nice, but can't attack in web-version. :(
@ramonvicious thanks! sadly we couldnt finish a working version in time... so the attacking doesnt work at the moment, but we are working on a after jam build we will link when its ready :D
@konstantinreed thank you for the info! we fixed the issue
@skullpaca Cheers for letting as know, Webversions working now 👍. @jona-scheidig did a great job with the art, appreciate it a lot for taking the time to take a long, despite the unfinished version. We working on a mvp to link for people how want to see what the vision was, would love to get your feedback on that when its finished
@wildcodeplay Gracious for the feedback! We had that idea too and the most basic form that we had planned was the destruction of the rocks with monster attacks or remaining attack traces that change specific things, like in Divinity: Original Sin

Game looks and sounds amazing! There is no real gameplay unfortunately but the idea is kinda interesting. I would love to play the finished post-jam version.
Really had a ton of fun you should be proud! Game play was really enjoyable, with a few polishes here and there it would be steam ready!
Nice idea and definitely good ground to start something bigger! Overall art very cute and enjoying would have loved to try some gameplay :D
The game is a good idea. But because I NEED a second player to play, I wasn't able to enjoy it as much as I would like. The graphics are cute, the music and SFX are on point, the rules to every card could be explained better but I can't enjoy your game to the max because I don't have a second player. Aside from that, really cool game. If you're able to keep developing it after the jam, I would be more then greatful to revisit your game.
I hope y'all don't give up after this jam. It looks and sounds great, and there are a few micro interactions that are really polished. Like how when selecting a card the others go away for a little bit confirming the one you picked, and then animating. And how when summoning a critter they have different sounds. But I think it might be good to reflect on what went well, and what didn't. I know a trap that we run into in our games is knowing where to spend our time, and it can be easy to over invest in one area or another. Hope it was still a fun experience!
Really awesome intro soundtrack. I absolutely love the first few bars. Sound for coin flip and battle was also really really great.
=== general feedback === I think this is a really really awesome concept.
The card art is really cool, I could see this being a really cool deck builder, either a rogue like like Slay the Spire, or even an RPG where you go town to town and gather new summons.
My gosh, and again: this music is incredibly great. Like better than a lot of games I've paid for before great.
=== small things to polish if you go further with this project === For the coin flip, in the future consider allowing the user to click on the coin itself instead of only the GUI element -- not a knock, but I find it's always really useful to think about how a user is going to think about my program when they see it for the first time (rather than how I intend for them to use it as a programmer).
For the "end turn label" consider animating it (soft grow and shrink, or glowing outline) when the player has no more moves. I just noticed the timer but it took me a while to notice this button even existed.
Keep up the great work!
Too bad it's not complete, I could imagine how this might play.
