Peso!
Here Peso Peso Peso! Whos a good Peso. Come here, Ive got a treat for you.
Amazing art btw.
Best art in this jam hope it wins category
The art is nice, but I found myself frustrated trying to find the pieces of the puzzle as they blended into the background.
The art looks great, and it makes a good puzzle game due to the scribbly nature. I turned up the volume to hear the music, and then the game scared the life out of me when I put in the final piece and heard the dog barking :joy:
This game has great mood. The art is very fun to look at. Very satisfying when I found a piece that fit perfectly. The mouse wheel rotation mechanic is very tactile.
Music a bit too repetitive. Also on my computer, the audio was stuttering the entire game.
An interesting design problem: finding pieces -- on the one hand I like clicking random places and having the piece visualized only after clicking on it, but on the other hand, my act of selecting a piece kind of feels too random, and when nothing useful comes up quickly enough, I found myself just randomly clicking and dragging without much thought. So one solution could be to show edges of the piece even before i click on them -- but that solution would take away some of the fun mystery of anticipating/discovering what you picked up.
Also, is the game complete when I say it is? Or is there an official end that I just never reached?
Honestly, I got kinda spooked when I found Peso. I'm pretty sure it was unintentional.
The game is stunning ! I really enjoyed finding peso :)
Nice graphic style. A bit confusing in the controls and the pieces that are gluing together make it hard.
amazing game had fun, solved it with friends, good challenge
Thanks for the great review @p-man. I didn't like the idea of showing edges because the focus should be to find the pieces by visuals and not by their shape. I thought of adding a click counter that would reward players for having as few clicks as possible. Also there is and end if you manage to connect all the pieces correctly :)
Really unique game! Enjoyed playing it a lot! Definitely worth playing the downloaded version as the web version doesn't do the art justice! Great game!
Very very nice game. The puzzle was really difficult.
The art is awesome! The game itself is frustrating though, too hard for me
I really like this game. To me, the mood is almost perfect, the gameplay just needs to feel unsettling, just like the art does, I've seen this kind of gameplay many times before. The art, however, is perfect, I love it! I think the story also needs a bit more, but it works well as it is. Overall, it's a really nice game! Well done!
This looks extremely nice! I'm afraid I can only vote for graphics and music, because I couldn't get the pieces to rotate when playing the HTML5 version on my phone. If I get near a computer before the deadline, I will male sure to come back and amend my comment!
I found Peso. I liked the approach of taking more abstract-feeling art and turning it into something clearer. This definitely had a great vibe and, even when I was struggling to find the right pieces, I found myself appreciating the nuances of the art along the way. I wish it was easier to determine which pieces were interactable, but that's a fairly minor complaint. Good job!
Very fun game, love love love the artwork. It was so nice I wish there were more levels - perhaps to find my cat Pablo.
A pretty haunting game that you CAN play in browser, but most definitely should NOT, since most of the fine lines get criminally warped and twisted. Matching the parts can be meditative and frustrating at the same time, but the moment the last piece falls back into its rightful place is simply divine ^_^
If I could only give Peso a treat
