This is a really funky game. I like the idea behind it and the theme is really well used. The numbers were a little overwhelming for me, but I think that is a personal preference rather than anything against the game!
@anton4ik-dev thanks! Our artist really did a amazing job! We loved it so much that we are using our favorite species as PFP in Discord. :P
@mossgames Thanks for the feedback! <3
I have no idea how to keep all the animals alive, but nevertheless: I love the atmosphere and all the little critters, especially the frog. Art is seriously 10/10
As biologist and long time keeper of terrariums and aquariums I was instantly drawn to this game. Creature design is amazing and combined with the calming music the only thing that kept me from running away in panic as I tried to keep my castix from getting eaten. Can't decide which are my favorites... Jarecol or deer-dragons :O
Gameplay wise I was sometimes a bit overwhelmes, especially in the beginning, before realizing how to optimize :D
@minjutin Thanks! The game is actually kinda hard to keep everyone alive, specially in the higher levels, theirs needs starts to conflict with the other species making everything a caos to handle where each creature must be!
@archaeognathus Hey thats nice! Thanks for the feedback. The Jarecol is one of my favorites, but my #1 favorite is the Bolongo! :P
This was truly an interesting one! I am a big fan of tycoon games and ones where you essentially manage a terrarium or something of the like. I must admit tho I was quite at a los as I started with 2 cold animals and 2 desert animals and then one that belonged to neither. So what ended up happening was I was unable to keep that lil frog spider guy alive. Is there a 3rd terrarium or any way to deal with this?
I like the concept, maybe need a simple tutorial or anything like that, but it's normal with a short time developing it.
The art it's so cute and I like the feels of the game.
Well done! Take a candy! :candy:
Wow, the art is amazing. That combined with a cosy music and a nice sound design, you have one of the best mood I've seen so far. The game is a bit difficult but I guess it may be due to some missing feedbacks. Really unique game anyway!
@shpimpasta the frog should be in the swamp biome, maybe a bug occour and it didn't show its biome? The idea is managing the two terrariums, so is kinda of a "timing" game ya'know? Thanks for the feedback! <3
@hagamosvideojuegos oh yeah! A tutorial would be reaaally nice in this game, but we only did the help page sadly. T_T
Thanks for the candy! We apreciate it! <3
@rend Thanks for the compliments and feedbacks! Heck yeah the game is really hard, even us playing here after the jam still can't pass the Day 4. :P
Great idea
This is so cute! I love the creature design, and the music is relaxing. Nice job!
Awesome visuals with great concepts!
Amazing artwork and design of the game! It was a bit confusing how you were supposed to keep the bugs alive though, I had to figure it out through trial and error, but I love the fact you have to keep swapping between the terrariums to make sure one of them isn't dying and you have to keep track of all their stats to make sure they're happy, it adds a great deal of difficulty to the game, the music was absolutely perfect for the game setting and I absolutely adored the sprites for the bugs! Good submission!
very cute game! the game is chalenging and very fun to play. i find rapelho is weird because it facing backward. by the way very cosy music and the artwork is epic!. good job!
great visuals, somewhat unintuitive controls but not that bad. Very beautiful, also nice to hear som audio you haven't heard before.
Seems to be a fun game, ugh I wish there was a macOS or Web build available. No low scores from me though, it's a game jam after all :)
@porumbdulce @fraz @henk-fan Thanks!
@congeesetador Thanks a lot! Yeah, the game is very hard to start, we should've made a tutorial to make it easier for starting the game!
@mncc8337 Thanks! Whoops! I must flipped Rapelho by mistake. :P
@emkani Thanks! The controls was something we were trying a lot to fix, since I was learning Godot at the same time as developing on it was kinda hard to understand the raycast concepts. :P
@antarian Oh! We forgot to make a build for MacOS, sorry. The web version we didn't made because Godot 4.0 sadly doesn't support web using MONO. T_T
Great entry! I love visuals and game theme. It may be even pretty meditative game sometimes, ha-ha.
I really loved the idea and the game was hella cute. The controls weren't inuitive and I did not understood how to switch terrarium or to leave creatures in the box. I wood really have played longer if the game was a bit more chill.
I wasn't able to play your game. The UI scaling is not working or not enabled and on my 4K screen the game is unreadably small... I would love to try it out.
One other note, please don't ship your game in a 7z package. This requires 3rd party software for people to be able to play your game. Just use .zip files (often the compression works good enough) or supply a WebGL version for people to play.
Cute art style, good music, interesting idea.
Adorable art style!!!!!
