ooo yeah, it wasn't so punishing as to make me feel like I could let myself give up until I beat it. The kick mechanic was tough to find a use for but it certainly feels like the kind of clever idea that would've had a super addicting implementation given another day to mess around. Really cool

Very nice pixel art. Fun and innovative. A bit on the hard side though. Nice work.
This was really unique. I liked using your source of life as a weapon, there was risk but also usefulness out of it.
More people should play this. It is actually really fun and challenging. great use of the theme. Controls are a little hard to get used to but overall great entry. congrats.
Love the "limited space" spin on touhou. Moving the lantern around was super fun to master. Very cute & charming characters as well! Nice work.
Yo, nice game! Audios pretty cool but I feel some music or ambient sound to go with with would be real cool.

Great game! I think some sound effects are too loud tho it made me jump lol
I had fun, the game is good looking and the gameplay feels really smooth. It took me a while to understand how to move the lantern but I did eventually. It feels like a finished game, impressive work

Fun game. The difficulty is hard wich I like but maybe it should have been a bit easier in the beginning of the level to get the hang of it faster :)

Very very innovative haven't seen anything like this. I really liked the game and it was very fun the graphics are nice as well, bit hard but that's great.
I found the lantern mechanic so difficult that I finished without using it... Apart from that, the game is beautiful!
Really good pixel art with great graphical touches and animations.
I found the kick to be slow and fiddly to move that I never moved the lantern on my winning run. It's way to slow to be able to use it reactively to dodge incoming projectiles. And there's no benefit to using it proactively since you're no better off with your lantern on right side of the screen as opposed to the middle. I noticed later that it shoots flames out of it when kicked, but I still don't see a reason to do that when I could just shoot the enemy with my gun.

Liked the design elements but might be a bit mutch to deal with at the same time at the start. Was very hard to get the lantern to travel in a predictable direction and focusing on it made shooting and dodging a bit uncomfortable. Overall it's got an interesting concept and cute art, so that's a win in my book.
It's such a fun concept! So hectic and quite engaging. I had fun trying and retrying. By the way, it would be nice if the intro would not play when you press "retry" button. After all, I saw it and read it already, I'll just space through it anyway.
The lantern mechanic is great and makes the game very challenging. There's a lot of going on the screen, and it can feel overwhelming. I think that moving the lantern could just be made with a button press (with no charging required), as in the heat of everything flying at you, you might just forget how long have you been holding this charge (as I did, all the time :laughing:)
Nice pixel art and pleasant sfx as well. Good job on the game!

Fun game! Super crazy and very interesting mechanic with the lantern kicking. I was only able to get very far when I wasn't kicking it though haha, I never quite figured out how to aim it reliably. Great pixel art! Nice enemy patterns. Great work!
