Great work with the theme hahaha, it was funny and well.. im sorry about the couple snails i ended up rolling over but it was too much tempting :P The graphics are great and the car is driving in a way just difficult enough to make the game quite challenging :)

Really liked the graphics and the feeling of driving the vehicle. Although it did feel like sometimes reverse was faster initially than going forward. Also the opportunity for accidental hilarity was great. Flying up into a tree and flipping onto a snail was a highlight for me. Not sure if just me but there was no sound. Therefore, I haven't rated for Audio.

I love this game so much!! The graphics are very well done and the controls feel super responsive and fun! I think it might be slightly too hard and I found it difficult to find the next customer or endpoint before time runs out. I like the compass pointer at the top but it took me a while to notice it. Also the red and green beacons look very similar and I sometimes got them mixed up. Otherwise this is a very fun and impressive entry! It's a shame there's no audio however (unless it's on my end?)

Also not to be a nitpick but aren't these slugs if they don't have shells, rather than snails? :)

@GreenwoodDrive & @surfa Thank you very much for playing and the feedback :) We have an audio system coded but ran out of time when it came to actually recording audio.

@kypello Glad you love it :) The beacons are undistinguishable from a distance because we have the standard Unity fog enabled, which changes the color of distant objects to gray which includes the beacons aswell. We noticed this but we haven't had the time to fix it.

And yes, they are slugs and this is a simple "translation error". We are all german native speakers and in German snail means "Schnecke" and slug means "Nacktschnecke" so they basically mean the same thing. Thank you for your feedback :)

The driving felt really smooth and the world and lighting looks very polished.

I feel like giving the player a bit more time for each delivery or adding a pointer towards the next beacon would have allowed me to actually see more of the game without restarting all the time (maybe I'm just bad, haha).

We made a similar game, so its fun to see how others did it.

Over all, well done!

Fun game! I always manage to drive over the wrong type of snails. Got a The Simpsons Hit and Run feeling of the game. You managed to get a good feeling for the drift. In many games the drift is awkward but you managed to get it feeling right. I would probably have used a Rocket League style arrow instead of the compass it was not very easy to interpret.

Pretty fun game! I enjoyed the challenge of trying to avoid the same-colored snails. The time limit was incredibly tight. The compass felt a bit weird, like the waypoints weren't quite where they should be? Maybe that was just me though. Good job!

I really like the graphics and the level design so it's a pity that you could no drive around when the time is over. Or I would even prefer to walk around and get on some of these buildings. So maybe replace the car with a person? :wink:

Nice visuals and level. It took me a while to get more than just two deliveries done but after that I did have fun trying to get a better score. The red indicator in the compass threw me off as it didn't seem to always point to the target the game became more fun when I started ignoring it and just looking for the beams of light in the sky. I'm curious as to how you did the vehicle and drifting controls.

@raggedyjam @generalflunder @aurailus Thank you for your feedback! The compass is one of the things that we just implemented without thinking about it. It seemed to work "just fine" so we kept it but added the beacons to ensure more visibility.

@spaceylake Simpsons Hit and Run was the first thing I thought about when I heard the theme so we tried to create a similar fun experience :)

@mar-zockmeister We will be publishing an AfterJam Edition of the game with several fixes and added functionality. Maybe a free drive mode will be in there aswell :)

The car controls very good and smooth, i like it. Snails very good. It's actually **nice game!**

Defently I was missing 3 things:

1. Sounds and music 2. Compass or marker 3. Nitro by shift

Back in days, I thought sound and music for game's not the first part in list to do, but with and without sounds feels too different, and it fast way to add some impact to your game overall and to controls especially. Oh and also it will be great to more objects to break down, like fencies. And more time or free ride mode with no score may be, just for fun will be great.

And I get my best score to 1200 and I don't know is is good or bad :) image_2023-05-05_031630915.png
