Cool concept and nice art. Found a bug though, after my first day the item on the desk did not disappear and the next day I had two items on top each other, one half packaged, and even after sending out the new item the previous one still stuck around.

fun game, I tried it hard ahah, the gameplay is original and satisfying!

ph-neutral 2023-05-03 16:26

@retrific Yes that's a known problem. I didn't have time to fix it before, but if I'm allowed to still fix it now, I will. Thanks for the feedback !

I like the *ahem* variety of the items to pack and the way you got the paper to wrap around them.

It ends too soon though! I played through a few times to see more of the items.

patatenouille 2023-05-04 15:05

Fun game, I also wish it lasted a bit longer as I probably didn't see that many items. I would've liked being able to use multiple paper sheets per item, if there is a way I couldn't find it.

I'm not sure why you couldn't put tape on the inside side so a few packages ended up being poorly secured as the last fold covered the entire item with the wrong side haha.

Good game overall !

rabiller 2023-05-05 08:02

@chybby the game can be played endlessly if you stay mediocre

ph-neutral 2023-05-05 23:08

@patatenouille It's not explained in word, but we hoped people would get the "stay mediocre" feeling while playing. If I was going to put more time into this game, I would probably make it so that "Getting Promoted" adds difficulty every time instead of just making you lose right away.

To answer your feedback, it's not possible to put multiple sheets of paper for a very good reason: The papers would clip through each other. The whole folding system was in fact done in 2 days and there just wasn't a quick way to do it. Same thing for the tape.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

Fun little game! Very innovative idea. I was so concentrated on packing it up neatly and perfectly and was fired after only shipping one package  Then the next time I went super speed and got promoted :sunglasses: Only wish the game had more levels and was a little longer. I think it could've been really funny to see more interesting items people have to send.

ph-neutral 2023-05-08 23:33

@francis The game can last as long as you want ! You just have to stay mediocre (on the yellow level). Glad you liked it !

zantze 2023-05-11 12:34

Its really satisfying to wrap the item as neatly as possible! I felt the inspector wasnt utilized enough maybe

shp 2023-05-14 14:05

this is really fun and the mechanics are well implemented, but I feel like the time limit is maybe a bit too strict, I would've enjoyed doing things a bit more properly

sheol 2023-05-15 05:24

Took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it haha. I like the idea but I feel like the time limit was pretty strict. I don't know if it's possible to get 100% quality on all the items and I struggled with stuff like the owl and the giant piece of ham but overall I really enjoyed the game. Many of the items gave me a good chuckle haha. Good job!

rabiller 2023-05-15 16:45

@sheol Yes, the 100% could be possible. For the time, you can last as long as you want ! You just have to stay mediocre.
