Hey there, I just played Deliver Me From Evil and I have to say, I'm totally diggin' the design! The gameplay is challenging, but totally worth it to get those pizzas delivered. Keep up the great work๐๐

I generally like the layout and the color scheme. The GPS is a nice pickup. The spawn rate for zombies could maybe stand to be slightly slower depending on the players' weapons.
Good job!
really cool game. great based around the theme of the jam. good job!!! :)
Nice gameplay, graphics style and sound effects. I panicked when I got the "Nobody responds" message :) Good submission.
Really fun little shooter. I also liked the game art.
I think the idea of a pizza delivery guy in a post apocalyptic world is just hilarious. Well done ^^
A really fun experience, love the physics interactions a few times after I killed a zombie the one behind used him as a shield and the way the grenade just bonks them in the face is really funny. The graphics are a bit lacking, Unitys default shadows are a but ugly and adding stuff like fog helps. The models are nice and easy to read, great for this type of game.
good game)
Nice concept delivered efficiently. The game audio music had me vibing. It was a pretty cool experience! Congratulations
This really has a feeling of a "proper game": visuals, controls, overall feeling. Player is not lost and it is easy to understand what to do. This game lacks just a couple of things. First is "feeling of progression": you can't detect easily difficulty increase between levels: stuff like "zombies are 10% stronger" or "there are 5% more graveyards" is hard to detect visually while playing, but if faster and tankier zombies would be of other colors, and they would be introduced gradually, then player would detect the changes. Just as an example. Also, after a certain point (after level 5 or so) the coins become almost redundant, you get enough money for uzi ammo just from the delivery itself. Maybe scale the gain from coins with level increase?
Anyways, I am just nitpicking because I wanted to have more reasons to play this game more. Good job!
Can't go wrong delivering some 'za!.. Unless the zombies catch up. Really enjoyed it, felt fun moving around and progressing. Also, of course, mussin up the zombos was fun too. Only critique is balance but let's be honest, that's really hard to get on top of everything else in a jam. Great job overall!
@nrankin13 Thanks! Yeah the spawn rate and other factors is pretty hard to get exactly right. Different players will expect different difficulty depending on their play style, and when you have random spawning around the map it can sometimes spawn too many or too few near the player.
@attala Thanks, I hope it didn't scare you too much!
@manmantas Thanks for the tips, especially the one about adding fog!
@nozomu57 I'm glad that you bring up these points, because I thought about these points as well during implementation, but unfortunately didn't have any time to do something about it. These are definitely areas that would be high on the agenda if I were to develop further updates to the game!
@anguium Hehe glad to hear you enjoyed it. Yeah, balancing stats and other game mechanics is very hard, as changing just one stat can have consequences for other mechanics for instance. Ideally, you need a lot of data from many players who have played it over a period of time to really get it right (which of course is not possible in a game jam).
A zombie apocalypse take on delivery. One thing you've got on most of the other games submitted is I understood the controls of your game within seconds. Kudos to you for that.
Some feedback: The music felt repetitive at the beginning. I liked the character and zombie movement a lot.
Overall this is a well done entry! The basic concept was pretty good and kind of funny. I found the difficulty ramp up to be too slow. At about the end of stage 5 I was having the most fun when there were a bunch of zombies and it felt like I needed to use the uzi/pepperoni/grenades. The hectic gameplay is definitely where the game shines! I noticed that diagonal input is faster, this is because you need to normalize the input vector before using it for movement, hope that helps  Keep on making games!
@frozenfire92 Thank you! It's interesting you mention that you think the difficulty should ramp up more quickly, because a previous comment suggested that I should slow down the spawn rate for zombies before you get the better weapons. Different players tend to favor different difficulties, so there should perhaps be some sort of difficulty selector to adjust for this (but alas no time).
Thanks for pointing out the normalization issue! Good catch :)
I love the idea of a pizza man shooting zombies on the way to deliver a pizza! I think there's a lot you can do to communicate this better and set the scene: maybe your delivery car broke down, its nighttime and foggy, an indicator on where to deliver the pizza, etc.
really cool game using the jam theme!
@slimefriend Thank you and thanks for the great suggestions!
This was a fun game to play. Love the low poly models and the concept. Well implemented. Awesome!!
well done! Nice art and gameplay!
