@magus77 Game didn't load?
That was a bit dark but interesting take on the theme. Likey.
"Boing" or what was that sound when jumping up.
You certainly captured the essence of the theme, which was immediate depression. Good job there!
nice game! go on
@chesschaser it takes a minute after the splash screen
Thanks for the comments :-)
@magus77 ok i'll try again!
Graphics weren't great on OSX, unfortunately :(
Pretty fun Overcooked style game, where you have to actually build the meal! Good job! (Always love to see 3d graphics in a jam)
I wanted to know how you would tackle such a precarious situation in a game but sadly it crashed for me every time I delivered a meal successfully to a cell. I was using Firefox on Windows - maybe this helps.
Good! Found it extremely fiddly to get things to stay on plates? They had a habit of all flying off into the air esp. with the potato. Still a great experience all the same - great work!
@bumble i will upload an excecutable version soon. i didn't test it with firefox sadly. But the exe should work anyways
Got a web error (Forgot to copy it sorry) when I placed my first plate down on the cell. Not sure what happened. Seemed cool up until then though, building up the orders was fun and would have been quite relaxing if it wasn't for the tone making it a bit more sinister. Liked the visuals a lot, thought the food models were especially good. Would definitely eat one of those drumsticks.
Might be worth adding a full screen option though, I couldn't get the entire game in my browser, had to have part of it cut off.
Great work here! A very interesting take on 'delivery' - one I am glad to see. I enjoyed just picking up your excellently crafted food assets, and exploring this haunting, empty death row complex. Really cool vibe just standing in that hallway and looking out the one window to the shadowed mountains beyond.
I wasn't quite able to get the first meal to register, but I had fun nonetheless. Great work!
A small update to the itch.io page: - there is now a fullscreen button on the web version - there is now a windows version to download available
a linux version will follow later today
An interesting way to see the theme. Good controls with good interaction in the universe with doors and so on, I appreciate. I had a bit of trouble creating the first meal I had to restart the game itself (maybe it wasn't necessary)
However I recognize that make a meal-checker is complicated, that must have been a pretty hard moment ^^ Well done!
I like the procedural aspect of the orders, and it was a nice touch to add footsteps. There is a small audio bug when selecting the computer while moving. It will loop the footstep sound effect and its distracting to hear while reading. Because I'm going back and fourth to the computer to get tasks, this is something that came up a decent amount
Really interesting take on the theme and well executed, good job!
Ah man, now I'm hungry. Great job!
Interesting game! Hope you will add more content in future!
Thanks @knatt for notifying. I'll check why that happens and learn a bit doing so :)
@alfie213 we likes creating this one so good chance we will :)
Pros: - unique mood and theme - remind me (awesome) movie 'The Menu' :D
Cons: - space is a little bit empty - I couldn't register any meal :<
