Fun little physic game ! Sometimes it's not quite clear why the level gets completed easely, and sometimes not. Other than that it's simple but clean. The chromatic aberation with the dash looks cool.

Thanks! I found that in some browsers the game is zoomed incorrectly, if so try changing the zoom in the browser :)

Nice colors!

A quite original game idea. I liked the mindless fun of the first few levels and it was still quite intriguing after the levels became more puzzle-y. It is quite hard to make the exact move you want without knocking some other pieces as well, but I guess that's the whole point of it. :)

Great entry for the compo!

I like this game! fun embrace of chaos.

I had a bit of trouble when the difficulty spike when immovable blocks are introduced -- I'm guessing the solution is {spoilers} you need to push blocks into the thin halls to dislodge the blocks therein {/spoilers} but with the placement of the hallways its pretty challenging, especially with all the blocks crowding the corner. Kinda wish running out of time would make you restart the level or move to the next one. Otherwise though, I like the concept a lot, and like others agree that the color changes and filters when dashing look sick. Great accomplishment, congratulations!!

Breaking down the blocks to get them off was very satisfying. I also enjoyed unlocking new abilities every few levels. Trying to get 100% for a golden apple could use some additional clarity. I wasn't always sure what moved the % value higher. At first I thought it was just moving objects off of their starting locations but later realized that wasn't enough to get 100%

After level 16 which i failed at 99% I still do not understand how the % disorder is calculated  It was fun, but as I didn't understand the disorder % really, some of the levels were very slow as I just mindlessly ran around exploding and dashing and magnetizing.

Thanks! @candlesan The blocks have to be moved until they change color completely. I probably need to add an indication for that, maybe making a sharper jump in color.

Cool visual color effect on the blocks indicating the displacement! Though I think for a game about chaos a more fast paced gameplay would be more fitting. Way too often I got stuck in the 95-99% range having to carefully displace single blocks and even after the time runs out I have to continue (and sometimes I forgot which color represents disorder). So I would have preferred a shorter timer and an easier goal. But I liked the dash, magnet and dynamite mechanics.

Also, is this an endless game? Got to level 24

zykra 2023-01-14 12:43

@oadt Yes, the levels are procedural (sometimes they are impossible). They are generated in a way similar to this https://generated.space/sketch/assembly/ :)

Fun game ! The physics are nice to play with, however it get a bit too tricky when blocks are getting stuck in corners. I think that maybe allowing to explode blocks when pushed enough would be satisfying and prevent people to be blocked at 99%.

Well done ! :)

Initially I found it quite fun. Novel idea. It then started to feel a bit repetitive. I think the changes in mechanics were spaced out too far, I almost stopped playing before I saw some. The last few % can be annoying to get.

A very unusual game, in my experience. The colors are vibrant and it's fun to scatter the shapes. It wasn't clear just how the percentage score is measured, but I was able to progress to Level 13. I got the magnet but couldn't get it to work. Very good graphics and striking mood. This game, simple though it is, shows a lot of imagination.

Physics games are the best  I enjoyed making a mess, but felt that the barriers on the edges made that task hard.

Smashing things is pretty fun :)

I got frustrated on some levels though where it was around 95% messy and I didn't know how to make it messier. I ended up failing level 11 where I literally knocked every block offscreen but it was only 85% messy and I don't know how to make it messier.

I like the way the unmoveable blocks adds some challenge where you have to think a bit more about which direction to smash from.

Also, the magnet didn't seem to do anything, but maybe I just don't know how to use it. I was playing the web version if that helps.

Cool concept, pretty satisfying to slam things around, though the level design was a bit frustrating in that a lot of blocks started right near the edge of the screen for me and it was finicky to get them far enough away to satisfy the level. Would be cool to have some more audio feedback, particularly on the dash since it was hard to tell whether the dash was working when you were in the middle of a bunch of blocks. Got stuck on level 11 with the magnet, there was a block that got jammed into some level geometry so I could barely move it. (Also I think the controls were backwards, magnet was seemingly on K for me?) Still a nice concept with a lot of potential, would be cool to see this refined a bit more. Nice work!
