This game has a lot of juice! A fair warning, it's quite hard as you die in one hit - I would prefer a health bar so I have more room for mistakes.
Graphics are excellent, music is fine but it got buggy at one level, started skipping.
Not the most inventive application of theme but it works.
Really fun game, I played it a bunch of times! The upgrades were really fun, and I loved how the overpowered you could get if you found the right combos (I found speed is absolutely necessary!). I agree that one-hit death makes the game a little hard, and I wanted to keep going without restarting. Having multiple HP and possibly an upgrade that heals back to full would be an awesome addition.
Very strong entry! Also, a web build would really help with getting more ratings/feedback.
Cool game that gets very intense over time. I like the upgrade system which has a lot of cool upgrades that affect gameplay in a meaningful way! Really enjoyed the art style and the shadow effect on the trees as you move around. Great work
Love the lighting! Creates a really good mood. Definitely think it's too hard personally. Dying in one hit is fine on its own, but with the reduced visibility, it's quite hard to see where the enemies are. Still, the upgrades impact gameplay nicely (I especially liked the lightning). I had some good fun with this!
Graphics 10/10, with upgrading game is super fun to play
The mood of the game is great. I love the lighting effects in the forest. The upgrades are a bit too random to be useful sometimes if you get unlucky earlier on. Definitely hard. Would be nice if the upgrades were more consistent early on and you didn't get overwhelmed quite as quickly.
Awesome shadows, makes for a nice hide-and-seek experience.
I don't know why but the song was really messy, saturated and crackled. Your graphism are realy nice !
Very Very good survival, great mechanics and art grafics
Great game - absolutely loved the visuals! You put some time into these Particle Effects ;) Actually felt like I played a little game trying to get better at it. Though since game has one-hit death and enemies tend to hide in shadows death feels a bit unfair and I stopped playing because of that.
Some points to improve on (not to diminish the awesomeness of the game):
- Though you put a lot of time into visuals you should not forget about essential feedback visuals. It's really hard to tell when a spell does hit an enemy and when said enemy dies since there is no indication of that. Some sort of splash or another particle effect is really helpful in making game more responsive.
- Because of not knowing when enemy died it then makes a bigger problem that regular enemies are white on a white background. Especially when they start splitting and get very small. That's where the game feels especially unfair when a creature you thought was dead kills you from behind a tree.

I would agree with @vidim888 points and add that sometimes it's quite easy to get blocked from upgrades which dooms the run.

This is a pretty cool game. I agree with the comments about the HP-related difficulty, visual feedback and such stuff, but the game is really fun and I will probably play it again on my free time XD.
