Nice game! Not too complex, with a reachable end. The warping on the sides was a good idea for a "little planet" feeling.
I love the way the enemies show up- the waves feel really exciting and aggressive. The way the target icons ~face~ the sunflower (due to the screen warping effect) makes it feel especially foreboding.
Thanks for suggesting this to me on [stream](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1610069109). I enjoyed the concept, and the execution was really good. I did find it confusing when I had died as I didn't know I had it just reset, I could've used some visual feedback. I liked the changing battlefield, visually and the combat felt satisfying - but wasn't always forgiving in regards to location. It was good fun though, well done
I thought the controls were smooth and the theme and gameplay loop was straightforward and simple enough yet with increasing difficulty and complexity as the game progressed to keep it engaging. I had a few hit box issues (attacking an enemy and running through it without killing) and perhaps the clock shouldn't have been able to stop the player running, but overall an enjoyable game!
I checked this out on my stream! [Here's a link to the VOD](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1619345236?t=4h59m00s)
I raged a little when I realized the clock at the top was a collidable object, but other than that it was fun :D
I don't think I made it even close to the end haha
I really like the concept and presentation, and the music is nice, but the movement and combat feel sadly underbaked - it's hard to move with enough precision to hit enemies with my attacks, which seem to have some severe dissonance between animation and hitbox. I lost after a few rounds because I accidentally skated past an enemy I thought I'd pressed the button in time to hit.
Loved the FOV effect, and the UI and color coding within the game did its job! I felt that with a bit of balancing, better combat and art, this could be a solid game! More emphasis or feedback on the sunflower would also build the context better into the game.
Thanks for making the game and sharing it!
The tube TV effect was a nice touch. I like how responsive the controls were. Got the end so the game was well designed. Nice entry.
Really cute little game. There seems to be an end but I kept dying before hand. I think mostly it was the hitboxes. They seemed to be like, a little up from where you'd expect them. The movement felt reall good though. Good job.
really nice mood to this one, I love the art of the guy. Sliding into bots as I zap 'em feels real nice. Good work!
