I really like the concept, it could be a nice little arcade game with more polish, especially on the controls. Congrats :)

It's a good start and great use of the theme but still a bit buggy. The art and sound effects are top notch. There didn't seem to be any reason to kill the slimes, which was disappointing because they looked great and very killable.
Nice game !
Nice! Def could use more work, but it's a good base framework. The skills aren't really that useful; since the slimes barely move to block you, you can easily just path around them to the exit! Cool that the map is procedural though!
This is what you call a "kind of similar" game? :joy: its quite different i would say, but i like it, the graphics look great, the slimes are so cute. Its a good base for a game. Could use some more levels, better menus, and more content variety. Good Job.
Nice job! Looks simple but it is very tricky. I love you can use skills to help your journey. This really can be a basic mechanics to a full game. Keep the project on! Congrats.
@zluca yeah, I meant similar in that they are both top-down point and click games. Not so similar gameplay wise lol, just in a broader sense. Thanks for taking the time to check our game out!
Cute art and a good base for a bigger game, but it was a shame that the slimes move around randomly and no strategy was required. Although, I don't really see the 10 seconds theme here, is more like 10 actions, but goof job!
Nice game!
I like yours! It feels a bit like Dungeons and Dragons where every action you do is usually 6 seconds. You have to think about walking and the skills you need to preform before the slimes start their turn. Very well executed.
Some feedback: - This game could use some music. - Also, the buttons (for skills) did not really fit on my screen. I had to scroll to reveal all the buttons. Was tha t intended?
I really like that the seconds are represented in-game, and are not real-life seconds. That makes this interpetation way better than most I have seen until now.
@wouter52 Thanks so much! Definitely agree on the music front. We had a few drafts going, but unfortunately, we didn't have the time we wanted to complete any of them since both of our musicians (me being one of them) were also tackling programming duties!
The scrolling on the skills was intentional, I had planned initially to include more which would cause it to make more sense, but we were unable to due to time.
Glad that you enjoyed the different way of communicating "10 seconds". I wish we were able to lean into the time aspect a little more, but nonetheless thankful that you appreciated the change and understood what we were going for.
@mr-deku Thanks for the feedback! I completely agree the game would be much better with intelligent slime movement--it was actually on my to-do list but I did not have time to implement it for the jam.
Nice try here, maybe add more difficulty to the game, the slimes could move more maybe? When I played, they just move 2-3 steps, while we can move 10 steps. To easy to avoid them !
Quite entertaining although as others have already pointed out the slimes are super easy to just avoid since they only get 3 moves. I also had some camera issues where it looked like the world is offset a bit, I couldn't see the top or right border of the dungeon at all or move there.
