Ah, the good old rewind mechanic. The movement feels good overall. The lack of integrity between some assets is bit immersion breaking for me. Appreciate the control guides. It's nice that the game has a story and dialogue, but I would prefer text appearing in place rather than jumping around the lines. I would consider using a pixel font or some other crispy font to promote the aesthetic.

Sadly I got stuck in the pool of water, I'm sure there would've been nice puzzles waiting.

Good job.

@coderaurus, thanks for your feed back. You can move on the water surface in reverse time flow. Hope that can help you continue the game.

Smooth movement, crisp and pretty sprite art and reversing time to solve puzzles. Great implementation of the theme and impressive to be made in three days!

Ok, I am going to write a lot, but it only because I enjoyed your game so much. 1. The map design is quite polished. The assests look truly great. I am keeping that in mind, because it being so polished only helps to notice the small immersion breaking scenery changes. 2. The fact that you have to reveserse time when the clock reaches 10 is a twist on the time reversal mechanic which is appropriate with the 10 second theme. 3. The game looks really good, but the dialogue is a bit skeletal, and it stands out. It would greatly improve the experience if you get some more background story until you reach the time reversal mechanic, or have the main charachters say some more interesting things. I would not be writing this if the game didn't look so good. 4. The puzzles are cool. In fact, some of them are very cool, it is clear that they required some thought to construct, but not everything is appropriately communicated to the player. Sure, I noticed that when the time is reversed the pool's surface becomes solid, and so solved the puzzle, but: i) I could have just as well not noticed it, and while the information is there, it would lead to unnecassary fraustration. The idea that some mechanics are not clear does not fit the overall design of the game IMO. ii) Why would the pool change with the time reversal mechanic? This is not explained in the game. Another issue is one which comes naturally with the time reversal mechanic being forced at 10 sec. It is possible to be soft-locked out of some puzzles. For instance, I got soft-locked in the puzzle immediately after the pool. While it is possible to (rather) quickly nevigate between levels, I had to go through the pool again, which is unnecassary.

Overall great game, I encourege you to work on it more. Capping the time reversal is an interesting mechanic, it might be possible to construct some very interesting puzzles with this cap. Polish the map some more, enhance the writing, and you have a small steam game:)

This game reminds me of the game braid made by Jonathan Blow.

The overall game design and time rewind mechanic are lovely. Especially the map design makes this game a great puzzle platformer.

If you refine the pixel art and make the fonts and music more suited to the mood of the game, it could be a great commercial game.

@elros Thank you for the long feedback. I didn't expect some one like my game so much So I'd like to explain a bit. 1. The game pixel art and audios are taken from online resources, so I opt out graphic and audio options. 2. Actually the game was made in last year, this time I only added some content in first scene and last scene.I have a complex story in mind but not ready to achieve it yet. 3. Understand some puzzles need player to pass multiple times which caused fraustration, I'm also thinking to solve it.Time reverse puzzle design really cost brain cells :/ 4. Thank you again for giving positive feedback. All of my friends are feedback bored or dislike of this game. That's why I paused the development last year.

@benthetwoofus I know braid from a friend after I share him this demo. I must say, the menchanic looks similar but actually quite different.

Really a gooood game!! Actually I played it for more than once. Like many fantastic puzzle game, it's hard to understand at first, but when you get it, you will applaud for the level.

To be honest, I do want to play the full version of this game.

timbeaudet 2022-10-05 16:02

I played this for you on [stream](https://www.twitch.tv/timbeaudet) and I think I gave good feedback there, if so give a heart, and if not, don't!!

akacmd 2022-10-06 04:40

And Braid a bit similar but it seems that the author still has his own ideas, in the level design and art if more polished will be better, cheers!

好强啊!操纵时间的创意真的好强啊!(求互投)

I played this game on my stream! [Here's a link to the VOD](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1619345236?t=5h36m00s)

really cool concept, reminds me a lot of braid

euler-moises 2022-10-09 14:11

I'm also passionate about BRAID and games where we can control time.

Have you ever played Chronotron?

Congratulations on the puzzles.

eager 2022-10-10 16:05

@badcop Thank you for playing my game. Sorry I did not attend the stream which I really hope I was there.

You are so close to pass level3. Just trigger the time flow to forward direction before the robot back to left side of the gate will solve it.

I understand this game need more guides. I was just testing how complicated the level could be in current stage. So the difficulty are quite high. Anyway thanks again for playing it

ben-throop 2022-10-11 12:44

Starts out great and the mechanic is intriguing! However I really couldn't grok what was going on for some reason. I was looking at the ticking up clock and thinking my character would be at the same position when the clock reversed, but he wasn't. Eventually I just went for the key and got it, but I didn't really understand. Then I got stuck in the water. A lot of potential here! I also really appreciated how the music was handled - the reversing as well as the muffled filter when in the cave. Good atmosphere.

eager 2022-10-11 13:21

@ben-throop Thank you for playing. The idea is come from the movie Tenet. So what you do in the forward time flow will be reversed did in backward time flow. Yourself is out of the time system. The shadow is just a reference. In the world of backward, water become solid, then you can walk on the water surface. Since the reverse can be triggered instantly without cool down, you can jump to the water surface first in the forward flow then immediately switch to backward flow then walk on it. I understand the guides are not enough. Will add more in the completed game if there have one in the future.

tuile 2022-10-11 15:47

I tried this out, it's one of the rare games where there is an actual use of humor! There was a narrative, and also a bit choppy in terms of how it flowed, I liked what it was trying to do.

The inconsistencies of the art stood out to me, but that was about it. Thanks for making the game!

ryusui 2022-10-12 04:31

Clever puzzle concept, nice art, not sure I'm a huge fan of the puzzle design itself. There's a lot of trial-and-error involved and it feels trivially easy to get stuck. Took me an annoying amount of time to realize that reverse time made the water solid, and then I got stuck on the platform puzzle right after.

dannyk1994 2022-10-17 17:48

Had a lot of fun playing, although struggled alot with the puzzles ( I am not great at puzzles ). The mechanic is well polished but could do with being tweaked slightly so it is easier to understand. Great submission and well done! You can watch my horrible playthrough back here https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1626886539. Thanks for letting me play it on stream!
