I want to rate this but I can't get it to run for more than a few seconds :frowning2: I'm using the full screen version and it crashes the browser, and my anti-virus auto-deletes the downloadable version.
EDIT: Managed to get it to stay open for a few runs. I like the sounds and the different spells having unique behaviors was fun to play around with. I could see the 10 second swap intervals being very chaotic in a full version.
clever take on the theme! I really like the shrink and levitate spells, it feels good to fight enemies with more unconventional weapons like that

Interesting game - poor wizard, he should probably get a new wand XD
The various spells felt different enough that they required a significant change in playstyle for each one. Some kind of indicator of which spell was active, as well as a countdown until the next shift, could be nice "quality of life" improvements.
Some of the enemies felt a bit too fast for some of the powers, so the dodge button was a nice supplement to the mechanics.
I also liked how the enemy corpses stayed, so that they could later be used by the levitation power as weapons.

I like the different play styles for the different spells. Reached a score of 295.81 in the end. I feel like the enemies could have been a bit more pronounced, so that they are easier to see (and know when I could stomp them after shrinking them). Great job on the game and your entry!
... time to go to the shop to buy a new wand.
Nice job, the spell switching was well implemented and I liked how different the 3 spells felt. I do think the quality of life improvements @somnium mentioned would be good, but even without those I still had a lot of fun!

I wasn't really sure how to effectively use the spells other than fireball. Also, everyone keeps saying there should be an indicator for which spell you have, but I think that's what the glow at the bottom of the screen is for, right? If so, it should be more obvious and maybe have a sound that plays when your spell changes.

Fun game!
At first I was using the Arrow Keys and was confused because I think the "Arrow Down" and "Arrow Left" keys are inverted in your Input Map. I tried the WASD keys (in my case ZQSD) and it works better! (thanks to the Physical key bindings ).
It's quite challenging. (or I'm bad at the game, possible). The different spells are great, the Levitate one is the best I think
Good job!
Interesting take on the 10 second loop  congratulataions on a solid entry. It's easy to "pick up" - and does not require learning new "mechanics" :thumbsup_tone1:
Fun little game, it's interesting to have such different spells randomly changing. I think there is opportunity for polish especially being a compo game, and you can work on those now. Good job submitting!

Good entry. I had trouble getting the shrink spell and trample to work correctly, but I managed a score of 257. Was enjoyable to play for a few rounds.
Good game! A bit hard to parse what exactly is going on but after I figured it out it was an enjoyable arcade shmup experience.
