Windows Defender claims it has a virus and won't let me extract it. Due to the very real risk that you did upload I virus (sorry, I don't know you) I'm not going to proceed.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Conveyor Belt Attack

@david-york I just fixed it and now you should be able to do it with no virus warning
had to add `--clean` to compilation command
Haha this reminds me of a friend in school whose mom grounded him for giving the computer a virus because he was typing with "unclean hands". Man he was mad! I'll try again now.
Sorry buddy, still being blocked by Windows Defender
@david-york probably your pc saw it once and will always recognize it as a virus... there goes i guess,,
Didn't get the warning, so I guess it does work now. It's honestly a pretty neat simple game that's quite intuitive.
1 slight knit pick I have is that turning on the music was a lil jarring, but it faded into the BG by the end. Nice work!
This was a fun game to play for a few minutes.
Fun little puzzle game. It does a good job of giving you a small set of limited choices and then forcing you to make those decisions quickly. I liked the pop-up that explained how to combine the boxes that would show up when you clicked the box. I didn't fully understand how the combination system worked (like which numbers to pair as they got higher. The pop up really helps with that, but you feel like you don't even have time to look at it as boxes are flying by and your time is running down. Nice menus, all the graphics are really clean, and the overall presentation was great. Thank you for adding a toggle for the background music!! Great work!
Good job! Was stressfull but fun!
@theheheo - glad you enjoyed it! everyone I showed it too was very stressed as well @the3rdhunter - I didn't intend for it to be a puzzle game, more an aim trainer / resource management game. I am still glad you enjoyed it and the popups do really help if you are stuck when trying to reach the next quality/tier level.
This game was stressful as hell but I enjoyed it lol.
I would maybe consider changing the way the boxes stack. Maybe make it more like 2048 or Threes where you can only combine like boxes, and then the score for that box doubles?
Also I feel like some sort of visual feedback for if you're actually hovering over a box or not would be helpful. There were a bunch of times when I was just a pixel or two off and got the banging metal sound instead of picking the box up
@fulminderek I made the boxes not stack like 2048 on purpose, so you have to figure out how to make the better box es or use the recipes. I feel like 2+2=4,4+4=8 design would be repetitive and cliche
Nice game! You really captured the feeling of being behind on an assembly line. The arcane upgrade paths are a cool idea, they definitely make it more dynamic. If you expanded on this I would change from using numbers though, they're a bit misleading.
Cool game concept! I like that getting higher number of boxes is not based on simple addition or multiplication. It was fun trying to figure out how it works. Nice job!
