Small update in the comments real quick. Small bug with the tile placement that lets this game be completely solved. Should I leave it in, fixing it is just changing one number? In testing I was able to solve the game in 50 turns with end score 8000.

Simple game, worked for me to play a few rounds :) I can see how this game can have a ton of updates with all kind of special blocks. Consider making a small visual Tutorial here that would help a lot to get started ^^ But i mean, you got 3 blocks to consider, it was not that hard to understand which block does what.

I managed to get to turn 128 with a score of 135200! I'm still not sure exactly how the crystal works, but it was fun.

I liked the manual control over the turns to give that added strategy! This could definitely be expanded and built out post-LD!

Great job, thanks for uploading!

nice game! i think right now its a little barebones since i didnt really see a lot of incentive to use anything other than crystal tiles (but i guess i shouldnt be saying anything since i only got a score of like 100k :p)

i think i would really look forward to further updates since i think u can really feel the inevitableness of the arrows and it could be a really fun turn based strategy game. good job :>

I get the following error:

It's a nice game but quite easy to figure out. keeping a lot of arrows back with the shields, strategically using crystals in some lanes to make them disappear, the pushing is rather useless, as you don't want the arrows to go away from the first line, so new ones behind them can't spawn in. Was a pretty fun idea, would need more options and more happening though (maybe some specific gameplay changers, think of stars in super mario) to stay interesting for more than the time you need to figure out the best strategy.

At first, I thought the game was like Plant Vs Zombies or something, but it is different. The turn based and tile based gameplay can demand the player for planning and strategic decision. Although those things have a little presence in the current state of the game, personally I think this has a lot of potential.

The game looks like just the kind of game I would be into, but I get an error during start up for both Firefox and Chromium: ``` Unable to parse Build/LD50.framework.js.br! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: br" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug. ``` If you fix this, you can ping me and I'd be happy to play + rate.

The thought to create a strategy game like this for the theme was a good one. I like how you took a slightly different approach than others in your design. It's similar to the other defend-something-for-as-long-as-you-can games that have kind of taken over this theme but I think you've figured out how to make it somewhat original, so kudos. I really wish you allowed higher than 4 energy on this. Maybe you play tested it higher and it didn't work but I feel like it would kind of even out. A small change like that might make the game feel more dynamic. I guess I didn't like being rewarded for passing on one turn and then being punished for doing the same thing on the next. I'd love to see what you come up with if you do decide to continue development. Solid submission. Thanks!

Interesting idea! I got 111000 points and survived 124 turns. Nice game!
