This is the most solid concept and implementation I've seen in this jam! It did take me a bit to figure out the controls, but after that I was invested.

Great take on the theme. I really enjoyed it! The audio is soothing.
Once I understood the controls/goal of the game, this was a really cool puzzle game! My only real feedback is that there could be better affordances to the player to let them know that they need to press the lit up switch (I spent an unfortunately long time on the first level trying to figure out why it wasn't moving onto the second puzzle), and there could be an indicator of how far the platform can tilt before killing you. Without any visual guide as to how close I was to death, it was really hard to solve some of the larger screens, because I wasn't sure how much wiggle room I had at any given moment.
Had so much fun great job!
I actually got motion sick after playing 3 levels but I like the way it plays and how the audio changes when you push the buttons
Fantastic idea and execution! Really challenging and fun puzzle design as well. And I really dig the creative usage of the instruments
One of the best games I have played yet. Great work on the adaptive music and the levels! I really love the tilting effect, as it makes you have to worry about where both players are. The only problem I found was that I had no idea what the limit of the tilt was until I figured out by trial and error. Nice visuals too!
That was a great concept for a platformer, and a great implementation for the Unstable theme! Kudos to you, I had fun. The game got me strategize carefully on where I place my characters and not tip off the level. I hoped there was an indicator on where the center point of gravity is so that I could balance better
I think the concept is clever, but I couldn't get past the second level. Maybe I'm just dense but I felt like I couldn't figure out the controls. Am I supposed to be able to interact with the box? The particle effect is a little thing but really contributed to the mood and I like it.
@reef the controls are listed in the menu button, which in hindsight is a terrible name for it. you can pick up glowing boxes with right click :)
Once the controls were figured out from reading the comments, there is a solid puzzle platformer here, I feel the latter levels better use the tilt mechanic and relate to the theme well, I completed the game but felt levels 8 and 9 required alot of patience especially with the very slow tilting which at points were very frustrating but rewarding when completed.
I love the gameplay here, it's a unique take on the theme! Having to balance two players on either side of the level made for some additional challenge to the already puzzling levels, and I spent a lot of them dashing to the end before the whole thing fell over - it was very tense, and I liked it! The dynamic music helped make it even more thrilling, as the closer you got to the end the more the tension built up in the music. The graphics were easy to read as well, especially with everything colour coded, and the simple style worked well for the abstract environment. A really unique game, with a great idea behind it too - stellar job!
This game is a great idea. Needing the critical thinking skills to solve a puzzle, but also speed and reflexes to prevent the platforms from tipping too far is a clever combination. You can see my testing/review in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfAVRo-ZxYM
@meansquarederror yoo thats sick! thanks a lot!
I love the depth of the gameplay here, mainly due to the inclusion of having to balance the level so you can continue puzzle-solving. The graphics are simple, but somewhat charming. The combination of simple platforming and graphics almost gives me a "Thomas Was Alone" vibe. The adaptive music based on what buttons are pushed is also an incredibly nice touch.
This game is really fun to play! Great concept and execution. I'd definitely expand this one after the jam with more levels/mechanics if you can, this is great!
Good job!
having to balance the level as you play was a really nice idea and take on the theme.
