Nice idea ! The game was fun but also a bit frustrating : the blocks I placed were merged at some places. Nice entry overall
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD49 → Tipsy

The idea is really good, and it fits the jam well. But it's really difficult find the right balance. But overall I had fun trying the game.
If this game has taught me anything, it's that I should not under any circumstances be either a furniture removalist or a tightrope walker. I was SO bad at this. It was a great idea though and a challenging but fun little game! Those L shaped blocks can burn in hell.
Great work!
Pretty difficult haha but fun game overall!
Really good idea, but it's really difficult. I managed to get past the first stage but that's about it. Cool entry though!
A really nifty game with a decent amount of challenge that hits the theme dead on. It felt a bit odd to me that the outcome seems to be the same whether you succeed or fail (You try again with more obejects). But overall a fun experience and a good idea. Nice work!
Very fun and original idea, fit perfectly with the theme
As said @jk5000 is very hard to find the right balance, maybe you could add information to help the player : show the gravity center after adding a block, show blocks' mass... Or increase the difficulty only if player find the right balance.
When blocks are merged, the physics explode and some blocks fall, that can be annoying. You should disallowed the player to merge blocks.
The render is very nice, the light is beautiful and the music fit well with the gameplay. The falling guy sound doesn't fit with the rest of the game, try to use another fx or something more musical.
Overall, great entry.
@duck-reaction Thank you very much for such constructive feedback :)
Difficult to play, but nice !
I like the music, it's really relaxing and gives me a fitting "balancing on two towers above the clouds" feeling.
the music gave me patient to try many times :)
it might be better if there are a list to show what are next objects.
Nice, tightly designed balancing game. Definitely difficult but not impossible -- you start to figure it out after a couple of restarts. I really like the simple, clean style and how it keeps the focus on the gameplay. Same for the music, it's very thoughtful.
Entertaining and funny - it's a great hook, and I think with a little polish could be a lot of fun. Right now it's *hard* (I only managed to pass the first stage, on my second try), but there's a lot of humor in the failures.
Some polish ideas: - A preview of all the pieces to add each round would help the player plan their "build" better. - Some kind of feedback (but not too much?) on where your balance is before each attempt - Ability to place items beneath existing items - Some kind of influence once the walker is in motion (tilt controls on a mobile device would be funny as hell)
I hit about 100 blocks and stopped, after a while there's not enough time for the base blocks to have any influence on the upper blocks so everything drops at freefall. Cool concept. What'd add even more chaos would be bungee cords or something :relieved:
I really like this idea! It was a little weird that you kept going whether or not you made it (i never actually made it though). I loved the presentation though! It looks great, sounds great, and plays very well. Nice job!
