It's somewhat basic, but it works! Those dang square ones keep getting me! It would be cool if there were a depth meter on screen to show how much progress I'm making. Is it supposed to be kind of a square screen view?

@msduo13 Thanks! So I started with something else in mind, but then ran into problems and ended up going for this voxely, colorful style. The square screen is part of the original idea. I thought about changing it later on, but then ran into issues with the balancing, so that's that. Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback. The depth meter is a nice idea too, I'll look into it later on.
the colors are a bit hard to see, might just be me. i think it would be a kool mobile title
Fun diving game, I got to 169 depth as my best, kept dying at around 120 when a square thing would split into 3 pieces. Overall cool! Would be really awesome as like a loading sequence or something.
@gd60jace I thought about implementing mobile controls, but it would take too long to make (GMS1 is severely limited in this regard). I think it'd be cool to have tilt controls though!
@thatmanrobin thanks for playing! My record is around 200m, but it took me a while to get there. I'd definitely enjoy something like this as a loading screen game too!
Art is really Cool. Some elements are unclear.Really loved the UI.This has potential. Approved :)
The art style is really nice. Only thing is the square. I thought it may be a power up of some kind so I ended up dying :joy: I agree with @gd60jace, if you added some additional mechanics and tighten up the controls this could be one of those VOODOO casual mobile games  Nice work.
Very nice. Too bad that it didn't work full time (at least half of my screen was filled) Would have been awesome to have a full screen going on. Nicely done.
Really nice and fun to play! With some music and sound, it would have been even better! And maybe adding some challenge with a high score table?
Cool particle effects and I like the take on the theme. Never got past 91m as the little cube always got me. Art style (e.g start menu font) could be unified a bit. The main logo looks very nice!
Pretty cool game! I felt like the controls were a bit tricky, and the square in particular was especially difficult to dodge, but overall nice job.
Really cool presentation to create a 3D effect out of some very simple parts! I think it would feel a bit better to play if inertia was a bit lower so the controls would be more responsive.
Super cool art! Unintended side effect : I love the shaking of the characters when you use the mouse control scheme : as if by an immense air resistance and speed coming at him!! Is it normal there is no sound on web build using Firefox ? The gameplay is too punishing in my opinion though' :)
Solid game with a nice and focused presentation. The best thing to improve would probably be to give your enemies some signaling. This way the player would be able to predict where and when bullets will be spawned which in turn let's him react instead of just hoping for some good luck. :-)
