Nice little game ! I liked the ambiance and overall aesthetics of the game. I would have preferred a mouse click to use selected action instead of E but that's a minor complaint. And I found a bug that makes to game crash : in the final room that says "thank you for playing", if you press 3 and then fire the flare gun, the game crashes. But cool game, well done !

Really cute little game! The art sytle & audio & lighting all go really well together, making a really nice mood / atmosphere for the game!
Took me a minute to work out I had to press E to use the tools, but that's no big deal :)
Really liked the death system being so forgiving, leaving the level in the same state - leaving your bodies lying around was a nice touch!

Wow! Adorable art style. I loved the whole aesthetic, the sounds were nice and the music very fitting. The spiders were a little spazzy but it kind of fits haha. I liked seeing my old bodies. The only thing I would say is that it was sometimes a little hard to tell spikes and stalagmites apart.
May I say that this game is a Gem? Sometimes I join LudumDare just for this. I liked like everything. Gameplay, the graphics, the ambience. Would be nice to play a final version of this :) If it's possible, please continue working on it.Put on itch, so maybe we can follow the game, progress, etc.
Don't know if it's a bug, or I didn't complete something, but at the end of a stair near the "electricity" section, there is some stuff moving,and I can't jump properly so I die there a lot. Did I miss something? block.png

Cool game, I would have liked if the controls weren't toggle, but you had a seperate key for light, pickaxe and flare gun, preferably keys you could press with your other hand.
A really lovely experience! Love the art, the music, sets the mood perfectly! Platforming was rather challenging, but it suits the game.
Also seeing a dozen of red eyes moving at you from the dark is 👌 a perfect sprinkle of panic I needed at this time haha

This is a really charming little game! I was spamming the lanterns whenever I could because I feared something might pop out around every corner.
I liked the game so much, the art and character movement are so nice. I wish the arrows could also be used for controls.
I loved the pixel art and the light mechanics! The level design was also nice, though it was a bit too easy (in my opinion). I was going to say you should have more situations in which you can't use lanterns and would have to fend off the spiders with your flare gun, but then the sign saying there was no reward for killing innocent spiders made me feel bad :laughing:. I found the controls a bit strange to played with just one hand; I think using the mouse for selecting and using actions would be better, but if you want full keyboard controls, it would at least be nice to be able to use the arrow keys for movement, so that you could use both hands. Also, this wasn't a big deal since I had already beaten the game, but I thought I'd let you know that I got this bug when I tried to use my flare gun in the final room.

Great entry, the only thing holding this game back is that snake at the end of the game. I'd love to see more of platforming/mining.
Critiques wise, you should of made money do something if your going to have it and explain what "needing power" ment since it never seemed to do anything. Other then that this was well done all around.
Great game, can't believe you made it in such a short amount of time. I would've preferred to be able to aim the flare gun even if it was partly. Some times it's really hard to tell stalactites/stalagmites and spikes apart.
