Like the theme and retro adventure game vibe. Was very slow later on with deeper dives--could have used a speed enhancement or something.

very cool game. I liked the upgrade mechanics
I found the note with the QR code but had no way to go to it. Our teams game was very similar.
I'm glad I scanned the QR code in the bottle. Highly recommend to everyone else. The game is very fun! It took me little while to figure out the mechanics, but I thought it was quite clever after I figured it out. Thanks!
Nice design and I like how quickly you can start upgrading as many games seem to ration at the start making it hard to get into the game. I probably got too invested when I realized there was variety in the treasure to pick up.
@crimoudin Thank you for your comment. I thought about scanning it with phone
Nice one, good idea for game mechanics.
Hi there ! Be careful with your UI scaling, I couldn't see the controls while in full screen. Idea looks good so far, wish there were more feedbacks with the interactions though. Gj !
Hi, nice game you've made. I liked the simplicity and graphics. I think a little music would be definitely great here and sound feedback for getting cargo.
Love it. very fun to go get gold and upgrade. Pretty extensive level to explore too.
I think it could benefit from some texture in the water to give you some perspective on which direction you are going. also it would be cool if you didn't use fuel when you were on the surface of the water.
Overall I really like it!
I'm so glad I got to the qr code in the bottle, the reward is real! Also fuel isn't used anymore while reading the message, very practical to continue explore without refill :p
Gameplay loop is very fun. Liked it!
Funny game.
i wouldve played this for hours during newgrounds hayday, good work!
Good work It remind me a game I did for a LD with a similar theme
A very fun little game. I especially loved the little touch with the message in a bottle. I agree with some previous comments that said that it got a bit repetitive and long with the longer dives. I believe that a change in the ocean art or speed boosts etc. would change those things up. However, I also understand that those things are hard to implement in a jam game haha.
I really liked the base game. There's obviously a lot to improve upon with a lot of potential upgrades and features, but I thought the it hit the theme well and would definitely play an expanded version of this.
I really like the gameplay loop here. It creates a satisfying sense of progression as you're able to explore more and more of the ocean. The graphics are nice and have a sort of cute vibe to them, and the mechanics of the gameplay are solid.
I like that this game has a shop, and I could even see this being built out more to include other upgrades - like a speed upgrade! Although I know it's difficult to include a lot of features in a jam. Speaking of wishlist features, a minimap would be helpful as it's easy to get lost in the vast ocean.
This was a lot of fun, and it has the potential to go further than this jam.
Your game is pretty much the first idea we discussed within the team! Solid game loop and mechanics. Besides maybe a minimap, I don't think that the game need any additional feature but some further polish (animations for the submarine, soundeffects, ...) would have been nice. Overall it's a solid entry, congrats!
Great game. Good game loop! Fun to play. Can get lost easily though. Not even a mini-map would be required maybe even just an arrow that point in direction of the shop to help orient yourself. Solid entry, well done :)
The game was pretty easy! I was able to go way over the map by going over the upper right. I found the bottle, with the QR Code- though I don't have a QR scanner. A friend scanned it for me and told me it was a rick roll, ha! Nice game.
Seems like most people' job... go there, collect, go back, buy, have a finer jacket, there, back, a bottle of proofs, next, again, deeper, deeper... at some point many just forget, what do they need, where are they going, is there anything, actually, at the bottom of this... deepness. Depressing, but nice game, anyway. Coins count (or cargo) seen collected in numbers would be nicer, though.
