I liked the artwork and the mechanic where the grass slows down the player. I got scared for a second when I misread "surfacing" for suffocating lol. Nice work!

Great game! It's something I'd definitely play more if I had the time, the mood was super well done and I could see myself achievement hunting if there were any. The game progressed pretty slow but that's probably because I'm trying to rush. Great job!

I love the graphics, especially the water effects. I would have liked slightly faster gameplay, but this is a really nice nod to those mid-2000s upgradeathon flash games. Good work!

Had fun playing your game , music was nice and it ran very smoothly! I enjoyed it well done!

I liked everything, but the character seems to swim too slowly.

This is incredibly well polished and reminds me of something I would have found on a flash site years back. This was similar to one of my brainstorming ideas and I think you did it justice. Kudos!

This is great! Really liked the particle effects in the background, and the decreasing visibility the deeper down you swam.

Nice game. I think I would like it more if the character swam faster and the upgrades were faster to get.

Solid game. Gotta love games with upgrades :)

This is great. The atmosphere created is fantastic, especially with the music. If I'm going to critique something I have to get nitpicky just because it's so good. I think the player is too slow, especially in seaweed. I don't like how their aren't any item descriptions either, I'm still not fully sure what some of the upgrades even did. It took me around about an hour to get each upgrade, which is a pretty good length. I love boosting and bouncing off of the jellyfish, it's so fun, especially with the sound effects. Though, I do wish there was some kind of indication as to when the boost is ready to be activated. If I can get really nitpicky here, I don't like the font choice, it made some things difficult to read. Also, the transitions between the game and the menu I feel take a bit too long. Other than the minor issues, this game is absolutely fantastic, great work!

Out of all the diving games, this one I probably played the longest!

I enjoyed the peaceful approach, rather than everything trying to kill you. And automatic resurfacing when you run out of oxygen is a really forgiving mechanic that I appreciated. Also really liked the approach you took to pseudo-random generation.

I found a fun bug that lets you launch yourself by [dashing into enemies](https://i.imgur.com/HCqzf4s.mp4). I probably spent 2-3 oxygen tanks just playing around with that.

I do wish the bigger upgrades were a little cheaper or you had more incentive to unlock them. I got to around 200m and had everything unlocked except for the 3 most expensive items.

Good job!

Nice game! i think i've played it a bit longer than i should have.

I think it was only at the very last dive that i realise that i unlocked the dash. dashing through the seaweed is fun. the angling fishes are fun too, but by that time i only go after gems and chests.

Fluid particle FX and bubbles looked great, nice job on those. It was pretty fun to control too. Felt a little too easy to be able to almost run out of O2 then just hit R to resurface immediately though.

It is a great game! I love the physics of the diver, it is so smooth, makes me feel like I'm actually in water. I loved that you just dont die and can go again, so it doesn't get frustrating and the mood is great really peacefull and I can just play it for an hour. Well done!! Great job!

Really fun and addictive, the environment and ambience are nice too! Maybe it will be nice to play keyboard too!

astronautmikedexter 2021-05-09 10:12

Very fun game. Really liked it. The controls are so so sluggish at the start it's so frustrating but as you level up and get more equipment it's great. Good job!

The music is on point, really broody and low key. Very atmosphere and suitable for the game you've made. The SFX were nicely done too! Good job!

Really fun game with cool graphics and that angler fish was good(it got me :))

brandon-hare 2021-05-12 08:53

Very pretty, I liked the calming atmosphere, especially the framing of 'surfacing' at the end of a run instead of drowning or something like that. I feel like the gameplay could get a bit repetitive, but I always like a good upgrade shop. I wonder if shortening each round or adding more coins to let people experience the upgrades more frequently would be an improvement? Great work!

suchista 2021-05-15 13:03

Good game, I got to 813 meters :) It reminded me of the old classic flash games.

I really like the mood, the music and the art with all the details, like the dots in the backround or bubbles coming out of the diver's mouth. And of course I love the angler fish.

As much as I liked almost all of the things in this game, the gameplay got stale rather quick, at the end it was just boring. When I got the treasure upgrade and found out it just gave random 10-gold pickups, I wasn't very pleased at all, since it was second-to-last upgrade I bought, and the last one was for 100 dollars also, so why not just buy this one and not care about extra money? I was hoping it would add a treasure at the bottom of the trench and getting to it would win the game (but that's just one idea).

But overall, it was a very solid entry, so good job!

Cool game. Would like to see the pace increase, faster movement with less drift. Visuals, especially the boat/surface, are really nice.
