@beats :face_palm: Thanks for notifying me I completely forgot indeed x)
This is a great idea! I love how a match will start out as a free-for-all then becomes a little more strategic and then ends in madness :D
Me and my friend had a lot of fun playing this. I would consider changing the icon since it doesn't look simmilar to the game
@jordan-kelly Thanks ^^ The madness at the end is totally what I was going for :D
@thebugger I'm very glad you had fun playing it ! Indeed the splash image went for a more "living" atmosphere when the sprites in the game seem more mechanic (like tanks). I was also thinking about adding some "personality" to the players sprites in game and adding a reference to the ghosts in the splashscreen, but there is only so much I could do in the jam time x) Thanks for the feedback !
The graphic is very simple, but I liked the mechanics, good work !!!
Reminds me of Combat for the Atari 2600, except with some phat beatz and jumps! Very cute game and liked it quite a bit. Wasn't the biggest fan of the controls on the keyboard, but felt pretty nice with the controller when I noticed that feature. :sweat_smile:
Great work on your submission!
First of all, this is definitely in my top-5 games on this jam.
It was hard to feel the game without other player or bot, but I've managed to do it. And I have some strange feelings - I think that something must be changed, but I don't know what exactly. Maybe placed beams should pulsating every 5 sec? Or players should leave a trail like in tron? I don't know. This game need some RnD, bots and it will make you rich. This could be new BIG thing. I am serious, you should work a bit and release this game.
This was a great experience! I know it would have been too much for the Jam time limit, but an AI opponent would be great.
Really creative project and I'd love to see it flashed out
Nice multiplayer game ! Not so much multiplayer game in the ludum, and this one is simple and really fun.
Nice game but im bit confused, thanks for it. I really like more. Can you rate our game too ?
hmm very interesting concept. I had no buddy to play with, so I just fooled around a little bit. I would love to see it in action, so that I can feel the game better(like is it fun to play, is balanced and so on. Maybe if there was a bot(witch I realize you maybe didn't have time to do) we could see more or less of the game. Overall I like to see new stuff, so I like your project very much.
Hi there :) Thanks for sharing the game. Actually I was at my 3rd attempt (haha) trying to understand how to use jump and what for. If you will update the game a short ingame instructions about players' goals will be a nice thing to add :) Best of luck!
@pedrocoden Thanks I'm glad you liked it !
@davidwesst I did not know of the game so I looked it up on youtube and it seems fun, thanks ^^
@kohcepba Thanks, that's really nice to hear ^^ I'm actually working on a post-jam version now. Bots are definitely an idea worth exploring :)
@deepsealychee Thanks, I'm actually working on a post-jam version, bots are definitely something I'm considering
@miklou I'm glad you liked it ^^
@cargamoni Thanks, I did rate yours :)
@sli Thanks, I'll try exploring the bot idea for a post-jam version !
@gamescodedogs A tutorial is definitely something I'll add in a post-jam version ! (The jump allows you to avoid lasers)
Damn, I don't have anyone here to play with... I will only rate the categories I actually can in good faith. the art is very basic, it shows that the game play itself was the main focus of your game. SFX is also bog standard, but good to have some in any case :) The core mechanics seem really interesting and fit the theme nicely. I may come back to rate the rest after I got someone to play with!
Cheers!
The replays are really great :D
Any chance of an HTML Version? I know it's pretty close to the deadline, but I only have my work Mac and I can't install stuff on that.
@tolmera Hey, sadly I don't have the jam version anymore. I've been working to improve the game since the jam version release (right now I'm trying to add some bots) so if I tried to make an HTML version it would not be representative of what the game was at the time (maybe if I thought about it earlier and used git to keep track of the evolution of the project I could've :/ )
Also the improved version of the game is not in a playable state right now but I'm working on it ^^'
@tolmera I uploaded an HTML version of the current state of the Post-Jam version, in case you'd be interested
