i think that the major issue of this game is the difficulty. im was not able to play it for more than than 2 minutes. despite it, very good job
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD47 → Tloop - The looping tank Shooter

This is such a good take on the theme. I think you should either make the enemies able to shoot in front of the player, or start off with the one who shoots in four directions, because until it shows up, you can just drive full speed in one direction and never get hit.
I also think the player should kill with one hit, but have a longer cooldown, so as to not just be spamming shoot at the general direction of the enemies.
Overall, really good game. One of the best I've played in this jam.
@luksusdyr Thanks for the detailed feedback, and yeah you're right, at the beginning there isn't much difficulty involved ^^ I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Gives me some 80's arcade machines vibes. Really enjoyed this man!
I was
the game was really fun and polished, at the begining i think its a bit easy because you can just go in 1 direction and never get hit but it was bloody good fun
Amazing game, I scored 5025 and only lost when the White 4 way shooters spawned.
Nice game, but ramps up in difficulty really fast. If you wanted to go for an even more arcade-y game,it maybe would be nice if there are some form of power ups, which make you deal more damage/clears the screen of enemies/etc.
Great game overall!
I liked the mix between the loop theme and shoot'em up style, indeed, it was really satisfying to dodge enemies' bullet, and trying at the same time to shoot them. Overall really nice work!
@skvader-418 @tauheed-game-dev @bridgeonastick @edalbung Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it :D
@bridgeonastick Yeah we originally planed on Power-ups and Special weapons. we also wanted to add a Bullet clearer Skill (like the blank bullets in Enter the Gungeon) :D but then time constraints came into play ^^
I wonder if someone can beat my Highscore ^^ unknown.png

I really liked the game mostly because it was fun but good work on the graphics too!
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
I like the idea it fits the theme nicely and it's fun to play. I like that the shield can deflect enemy projectiles, overall great job!
Fun game, the game feel is great, the gameplay is satisfying and I think that's the most important in a game! Not a fan of the graphics but the overall style is coherent. Really good job :)!
Really nice sound and visual effects, although a bit of variation to the shooting sound would be nice. Really solid small game you made here!
A very simple game, but the gameplay is fun. At the beginning it's very easy because you just have to keep going in one direction, but then with the shooters in 4 directions, the difficulty increase. Very simple graphics, very simple sounds. 8 bits nostalgia ^^ it do the job. Good.
I love the cute wiggling cannon! It's nice that you manage to have 2 different musics :)
I love little arcade games like this, and it was a fun take on theme. Feels great to play, and is quite polished for a jam game for sure! Good job :D
Nice take on theme, felt nice and was fun! Would be interesting though to have had some kind of enemy that would limit your movement on the loop (for example a wall-like enemy you would have to shoot to pass) because in the end I found the optimal strategy was to just hold a button and rotate forever while shooting towards the middle.
@smarto-club We did actually have a wall enemy planned, the sprite was ready and the plan was to either shoot it or ram it with your shield, but we ran out of time :P But thanks for the feedback :D
Wow that was fun. but....I WAAANT POWER UUUUPS  Overall pretty good job guys. I can see this one expand to a full game.
Finally a game for people who circle strafe. The strong enemy variety does include some types that punish or restrict circle-strafing, but I feel as though such an enemy should have turned up earlier to put pressure on the player from the beginning. Aside from that, this is a fun, straightforward game. Good work!
Great game. I like your take on "Stuck In a loop"
I love that you posted a video explaining your hole process. You did a great job with this for discovering the Game Jam on Sunday. Awesome work!
Fun game!
The overall feel was chaotic and great, the screen shake and sound effects helped out a ton with that. The enemies moved in a good way, they weren't static but it was possible to hit them. Music is always a win. The sprites for the enemies signaled clearly what they were capable of, which made the game feel fair, as you weren't surprised when they shot. Volume sliders- thanks! The game fit the theme nicely.
The music could've really used some sort of percussion, like drums. The shield was a little bit unclear with how it worked, I feel like it should've lasted longer or you should at least have some way of telling the exact time remaining.
-------- All in all, awesome job, great game!
Also, am i correct if i guess that you're german? (based on the name apfel and the game file name Lööplööps Extreeeme)
@invixel Thanks for the detailed feedback :D and yes, we're both german ^^
Most fun game i played so far. Indeed some powerups would make this game even more fun. Hope you keep working on it and add some more features.
