The story, visuals and music is all good in this game. The gameplay is a bit basic, and I would have liked a bit more to do. Overall is this an okay little jam game.

It may be simple but that does not make it less enjoyable. Flappy Bird became a worldwide hit after all and this game has better graphics. :D
@jk5000 @axelrinaldo Thanks a lot for the feedback :)
Nice little game! It looks simple, but predicting whether you hit something or not is much more difficult when you're moving in a loop. There's quite a few ways this could be expanded on - more types of objects appearing after several loops, objects moving on decaying orbits instead of straight into the black hole, the black hole itself expanding when consuming other matter...
Overall it's a great first jam entry. Well done! ;)
@lcstark Thanks for the feedback. Your ideas on how to improve the game are really good. If we will expand on the game in the future we will definitely take inspiration from your feedback.
3 times was my max. Sometimes it felt like a particular combination was impossible to pass through, but it might have just been my lack of skill.
The music makes appropriate atmosphere and I really like the overall aesthetics.
This is a neat concept and I didn't think of orbit as a loop, but it's a great idea.
Be cool to try a variation with one button, where gravity is pulling you down and the button pushes you out.
Only other thing I thought was it would be cool if the nose of the ship dips down when moving down and up when going up.
Great little game and well done!!!
@meek-bits The spawning of objects is completely random, so sometimes you can get in very hard situations, that is true.
@tom-a Also good ideas, thanks. The thing with nose dip would be a cool visual enhancement. We thought about it but evidently it got lost somewhere in the three days of development. :)
Thank you both for the feedback.
Fun little concept. I'd already played similar games but in a side scrolling format. Having the player rotate around the blackhole was a clever change to an existing formula.
The speed of the ship is higher the further away from the black hole. It would've been nice for the speed to be the same regardless of the distance.
In any event, good job for your submission ! :)
@gamedev-and-architecture Thank you for your feedback. Changes in the speed of the ship and other objects depending on the distance from black hole is supposed to be a concept of the game based on a property of black holes, in which objects falling into a black hole appear to slow down. We were trying to replicate this effect.
The gameplay is deceptively difficult. I've certainly never played a dodging type game like this. I also really appreciate the literal take on 'loop' for the competition. I've ran into fewer than I thought I would.
@geraldfingburke Thank you for the feedback. We hope that the difficulty is challenging but not impossible or frustrating.
I like the ambience. I wish I was able to break or go faster. Since the screen is not a square I kept wanting to go higher when I was on left/right side of the black hole. Theme is on point!
@trypants Thank you for your feedback.
Overhardcore
Not to bad :) The art is very clean and I like the slight comic touch. The music is very basic but good call to include at least something. Adds a lot to the atmosphere. The game play was rather small in scope but works as you intended. What I found strange was the physics of the spaceship in orbit. Usually, the nearer you get towards the gravitational center, the faster the object must be to remain in orbit. Here, it seems to inversed it. The farther away you got, the faster the ship appeared to be going. That was kinda hard to adjust to. Other than that, a nice little game :)
I like it, it's simple and addictive :) The art looks clean too. I guess the difficulty could ramp up slower, since I've got 8 points at most, but it was still fun for me.
Nice story and interpretation of the theme :)
Also very good visuals in my opinion - perhaps a bit more complex gameplay (like being able to move faster) would improve the gameplay.
Great effort for a third game overall :)
@week-of-the-agents @duke @suchista @zebrainflames Thank you very much for the feedback, we appreciate it.
We will definitely play with the difficulty curve and try to implement more gameplay features to make it more interesting for the player.
Simple, effective and addictive. I think it was a good difficulty, the spaceship had nice snappy controls and you put in lots of nice touches that made it feel polished. Great job! We both had fairly similar ideas about this brief!
@weirdybeardyman Thank you very much for your feedback. :)
