Nice driving mechanics, I like how when I drift, I can visibly see my player character leaning towards the edge of the cart. Great music and visuals as well. Good job man!

A story driven kart racer with a twist =) cool concept. Feels pretty polished! Nice
Blue was frustratingly hard to stick next to for long enough and some visual indications of where I needed to drive or maybe an indication of which ones I'd already found would have been nice as verbal descriptions of locations can sometimes be hard to follow. Otherwise fun music, good graphics and I like the story aspect that was added into this kart racer.
Finally managed to finish your game.

Let me say, this game is one my favourites in LD47.
You guys delivered fun in a simple way. The happy music somehow contrast with the weird setting of eternal locked in a race and the "portal points" thing. Very nice.
Cool narrative with different drivers personalities. I see people here complaining about to reach blue to talk, well, it's easy to get on blue after you get the grip on the physics. Green, on other hand, drives like a lost cockroach and way harder to talk 😁

Hey @fistflame and @meowitzer ! Really original concept :) I love the dialog system, because you have to stays long enough next to the kart to enable it ! It makes a very different experience where you are not really trying to win the race, but to stays next to the other to unlock the dialog ahah

lol i got loop racered. was 4/3 tracks in, and swear i did maybe 7 or 8. The handling feels smooth til its wild, and i never quite got the hang of it, but cruising around the track always felt fun. The dialogue interruption was unexpected but pretty humorous. Blue is a beast, they had so many laps by the time I hit 4.
I won, I beat blue (was ahead after 3 Laps and continued to do so)! took a lot of grinding tho. seriously the racing got me hooked more than actually getting out of the loop. Optimizing the corners and jumps until I could finally be faster than blue was amazing! The controls felt realy neat which is why I could optimize the race so well. (Blue still said he was first tho even if I was in front of him :D.)
This was overall a fun little racing game. I like both the music and driving. But for me the game never ended, and the game feels a bit unfinished.
I was surprised to see dialogue and a story in such a racing game, that's a nice and fresh idea. However, the driving physics didn't feel very good, for me it felt way too sensitive and very floaty.
