Hey! Nice game. Was a bit unsure of what to do at the start but got the hang of it. Really smooth controls and it worked with the theme really well. Could have done with a bit more polish like sounds and better main menu but overall, Great Job!

Was hoping to review your game, unfortunately I'm getting a unity error when trying to launch it on the web build. Let me know once you've fixed it and I'll come back and review it properly!

I really like your use of lighting in this game! Also the controls felt well refined. Some audio would have been nice, but I understand that this is your first Unity project! Overall, this is a really good jam entry!

Well that's a pretty tough game! The idea is pretty interesting. Like a dynamic tower defence. If you see past the place-holder graphics, there's something interesting here. I think you just need to include more user feedback in terms of what is bad/good, and what you are supposed to do at each stage. e.g. I can heal by standing on a pad (maybe make a health glowing effect), and that the purple player is who I am protecting (maybe make an arrow pointing towards them and make them the same colour as me and when they get hurt I get a negative response like a screen flash, etc.). Great start!

Really Hard Game :hushed:

As a first project in Unity, however, it is a good starting point. Insert sound and visual feebacks, try to create a game progression and to make everything a little clearer.

Nice jam

I started the game by running away from the hacker. Lol.

Is that your first game? Nice try!

Fun little escort game! Fewer but deadlier enemies that maybe come in waves would have been nice I think as there maybe was a bit too many enemies now. Some more flavor with particle effects and screenshake would also have added a lot to the overall feel. Still, super good job considering this was your first game!

Nice game! Very hard, and I kept shooting the "thing" I'm supposed to protect 😂

jk5000 2020-05-06 07:29

The idea is fun, but the game gets really difficult really fast.

This is funny that I killed the hacker most

Could be easier but the concept is interesting!

By the way, your graphics style reminds my game lol.

Pretty cool game here! I found your game smooth to play and it's very clear what your goal is! I'm glad to see you made it possible to damage the thing you're protecting, it's nice touch which turned out to be a very valuable mechanic! Some improvements could be to add some audio, some more graphic work, and an easier level (along with a bit more content). Maybe a wave system would work alongside a score counter. I feel the game needs some more zing which just needs more time. I can see some small and effective touches like the hacker's regeneration. Just adding more stuff overall into the game would really bump it up. The important thing here is you have everything you needed which is great! The AI worked really well as did all the pathfinding. I also quite liked the shooting, it looked really cool! You've done a good job so far so keep it up!

On my first game I tried to kill the hacker by mistake... But then I got the hang of it.... Quite a difficult game though but a good start!

Sometimes when on top of the button/ledge thing, it was really hard to hit anything else as it seemed like the collision detection was off. It took me a while to realise there was some slow health regeneration and it was a shock when I realised there was friendly-fire on XD Kinda lost the first time because of that.

Once I got to grips with it I managed about 6 or 7 stations but I wasn't sure if there was meant to be more levels. Was a fun game and ran smoothly.
