I really enjoy the simple art and strategic gameplay! I had trouble placing things on some of the tiles on the top of the map, since the GUI went off the top of the screen. Also, a dedicated "skip turn" button might be nice for when you've expanded to every nearby tile and just want to generate resources. I got to the 9th feeding before losing.
@murpyh Thanks for playing! You can move the map with WASD, I'll make a note of that in the description.
Itch link doesn't work for me
Unfortunately the itch.io page can't be found - did you maybe set it to private instead of public?

I enjoyed playing this game! It's got quite an addictive core loop, and I could see myself playing it for hours if there were more things to do or encounter. At first everything seemed confusing, since there is pretty much no tutorial, but eventually all became clear, and I survived 9 feedings. The simplistic art style work really well too.
Very minimal and engaging! The art reminds me of my Dwarf Fortress days. Btw, when you are exporting a build in GameMaker, the moment you save it, you can change from "Installer" to "Single runtime executable", which is a portable .exe file more convenient for LD. I realised that with that export kind more people play my games.
