I didn't understand how to play.

bigtinygames 2020-04-20 15:43

Game is fun for sure, but it is not self explenatory and I have no idea how to play it, add some instructions please! :)

yeetukus 2020-04-20 15:45

I agree with other people I have no clue how to play my guy just keeps falling over

seagull 2020-04-20 15:46

+1 to the gentlemen above!

Please explain how to play, at least in the description.

sledzik 2020-04-20 15:47

same

doodlebrisk 2020-04-20 15:48

As other people are saying, I had some trouble figuring out how to play. Once I figured it out though, it's a nice little rhythm game. I wish there was an option to play with my keyboard instead of clicking the balls with my mouse.

doga-sarp-sezer 2020-04-20 15:50

Very fun game. I love the dancing character!!!

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-20 15:58

Sorry @ege686, @bigtinygames and @yeetukus. I thought it was self explenatory because it is just a rhythm game, where you have to click on the beat, where the discoballs meet the colored squares. Its a bit fast though... Thanks for letting me know about your difficulties with the mechanics :)

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-20 16:03

@doodlebrisk Thanks for feedback. I choose the mouse controls because I might want to make it a mobile game, where you tap on the screen.

sebastian-caron 2020-04-20 16:16

Good Job but it's a shame there is no UI to understand how to play

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-20 16:35

@sebastian-caron Thanks, I apparently overestimated you guys. I thought that extra UI were not necessary and I wanted to achieve a clean and minimalistic look.

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-20 16:57

I just updated the game to make it a bit easier. Hope that helps :)

storyteller-games 2020-04-21 03:15

It takes some tries to get used, but after that it's a fun game with a nice song. Good job

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-21 06:26

Thanks a lot @storyteller-games :)

abregado 2020-04-21 08:46

Don't let the slow moving disco balls fool you, you need to focus every microsecond! Thanks for the Bonus track as well @codeforjoycaro

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-21 09:22

@abregado You're welcome. The Bonus Track runs in double-speed :)

jogodfrey 2020-04-21 09:39

Once I figured out to click when the disco balls briefly change color and not just when they are over the squares it is quite satisfying. CHECK OUT THEM DANCE MOVES! I lost a couple rounds purely because I was watching the lil' guy boogie! Made me want to dance too & love that it stops to tell you off xD

farbeyond-studio 2020-04-21 09:59

Feels slow, but it's so hard. I love the dancing animations!

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-21 10:17

Thanks a lot @jogodfrey :)

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-21 10:22

@farbeyond-studio Thanks for the feedback. Wasn't sure about the right pace. Now I know better :)

nocity 2020-04-21 11:21

Really nice little rhythm game! It took me a bit to figure out the timing and exact rules but once I did it was a good challenge. The character has a nice style, the realistic dance moves are dope and the music is good. Staying aliiiiiiiiive!

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-21 11:28

@Nocity :) Glad you came to the end.

wheybags 2020-04-21 15:30

Nice game, pity I have no rhythym :p I think I got close to the end, but I'm not sure. The dancing metal guy is a really nice touch.

codeforjoycaro 2020-04-21 18:13

@wheybags That's okay. At least you tried :)

cybernetic 2020-04-22 17:50

Love this dancing characters. As my colleagues, I replay several times to understand what I suppose to do. Nice mood btw.

woiteee 2020-05-05 11:19

Nice and simple rhythm game. Very cool animation of the guy, and music. A nice touch would be to have some visual interpretation of the rhythm, such as pulsating buttons or the like.

codeforjoycaro 2020-05-06 15:12

Thanks for playing and for the pulsating buttons suggestion, @woiteee.
