it was difficult for me to grab babies, and then i felt bad for throwing them. it's a cute art style. i was a bit disappointed in the backtracking, although it DID make the level feel a bit different - just maybe a bit more of a chore than fun though

This was actually pretty fun
Haha, those monsters look super cute  If you are planning on making a post-jam version of this game I would suggest adding "look forward" mechanic (like in Spelunky) so you can aim your throws and jumps better. Also, I found a little exploit: if you fall into spikes with baby in your hands, you get teleported to the start of the level with a baby in hands, and you can skip "bring back your baby" portion of the game that way
Love love love the art of the babies and the main monster mama. Level design was pretty nice. Echo what @annie-owl said about the look forward stuff. Fell into spikes accidentally a lot and accidentally threw my babies head on into a saw blade (or I think I did, baby was just gone when I got up there, ha ha) Platforming mechanics felt very polished, movement was precise and I felt like I was in control. Would have been nice to have more control of the jump height so that I could avoid bonking on the ceiling. Awesome game, fits the theme well, great job!

Enjoyed the graphics and audio in the game, although your level layout seems to have a lot of blind falls and I managed to unerringly pick the tile that had the hazards every time I dropped...

The music for this game is fantastic. Crawling through some dangerous factory or bunker as an escaped specimen with that music playing is a really cool idea, but I find the Keep It Alive theme hinders what this game could be.
The best part of the gameplay is being able to pick up and throw those pesky furbabies. Very impressive for a one man team.
Thanks for all the feedback! I definitely wish I could of spent more time on level layout and the camera. Thanks for playing my game!

I liked the monster designs and music, but for some reason I had a super hard time picking up the babies despite the controls working pretty well otherwise. I agree with what others have said about adding a "look" feature, as there are a lot of trial-and-error blind spots that you can easily fall into.

Nice!
Wish the camera was zoomed out a bit so I could see ahead a little more and I struggled a bit picking the babies up consistently.
I like the design of the game. There's really nice monsters and idea.
The cursor has to be over the babies before you can pick them up. I forgot to put it into the instructions.

i really like it the art looks great, thank you so much for the game! I would be grateful if you told what think of my game
Amazing! The visuals were the highlight for me. Everything of it, from the animation to its colour, they were simply amazing and added very well to the theme of the game.
I would have preferred it if the buttons were responsive, and if there was a feature where you could move the camera around to see your surrounding.
The physics of the game were a bit unnatural to me. It's a bit hard to describe, but they felt too much like cardboard paper.
In terms of the challenge, there was no linear progression in difficulty, and it felt a little repetitive as I dove into the game.
Overall, it is a pretty cool game.

I loved art style of the monsters and it was a nice experience. The game matches the theme. Good Luck! for your future projects.
It was a real challenge to get past all the sawblades and traps with the momentum system, but after a while I did get a hang of it. I liked the fact that you had to throw the babies since you could not jump with them, this made the game have a puzzle aspect to it.
I don't think this monster should apply to be a babysitter though, it did not seem very safe at all  :knife: :baby:
I really enjoyed playing the game! Sadly, after throwing the baby through the wall and reseting him twice, I gave up. I wish the movements and throws had more response to what i'm doing, for example, clicking to get the baby, having to hover to his head is bothersome, walking fowards and throwing the baby didn't boost him enough and just clicking space and the character going 10 meters high instead of holding space doesn't feel right. It's a nice game and a lot of improvements can be done, well done!

I had trouble making "click" get a hold of the babies. In the beginning it took 4-5 tries to make click work, and eventually it stopped working and I had to give up :P
Overall this is a good idea, the shooting mechanic was fun and I loved the humorous theme implementation :D
