Full of personality and I loved the dash animation. Seemed like a pretty tiny margin of error to win though. Might just be me, but I would have preferred arrow keys to be enabled and I found everything being labelled with WASD for the minigames confusing. I had to switch to typing setup with my hand for my brain to be happy with it.
that ghost whale is adorable

Really liked the Ghost -- his face and the title were the reason I clicked your game. I found the timer to be very tight, although since the level never changes it only took a few tries to get it down. You did a good job of making the mini-games feel hectic, but the first time I got to them I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I still don't actually know how to use the beehive.
Overall I enjoyed it though. Thanks for the game!
@colan Thank you for the feedback, just wanted to let you know though the music is not mine at all, just full disclosure there! I give credit for the tracks in the credits section on the game's menu. Thank you though for playing!

Lot of fun, incredibly hard at first ^^ (Maybe due to my AZERTY keyboard).

~~This could just be my terrible **pro gaming skills**, but I could never destroy any of the falling anvils. Either I completely miss in the (I guess shooting minigame) or get half on the anvil.~~
It took me three game quits and many retries to understand what I had to do. My understanding was to grab *one* item which is around the map and use it against the anvil, but now I've noticed that wasn't the case. There wasn't really any indication about grabbing multiple items other than the "collect as many items as you can to help save the king" on the page. After reading that part multiple times I got the "EUREKA!" effect.
I'm not gonna comment about the timer since other people have already criticized it.
Overall, it's a really nice game and I enjoyed playing it once I figured out how to do stuff correctly.
-I'll be frank - the first part of the game was decently underwhelming and a bit repetitive. The timer, while contributing to a sense of urgency that REALLY pays off with the final mini-game (really well done with that), is pretty short. Either lenghten it or maybe have it really long but shorten every time you grab an item and be clearer about where the items are or something (which would maybe shift your game feel, but could be cool). -The item randomization was cool, but wasn't as clear to see the effect of because of said timer. Retrying was too prevalent in my opinion, and didn't really contribute to true a sense of challenge (if that was what you were going for by making the timer short). -I enjoyed how all of the buttons that were needed for the entire game were the same, but maybe making "Quit" something less common to press is worth breaking that cohesion for. -Despite the music not being yours, I can definitely give credit where credit is due for the boss-like atmosphere that you had going. -The minigame was really cool, and I would play it alone if it had some more variety. Could be a cool attacking mechanic for the player in a turn-based game or something! Really enjoyed.
Mini games are hard but really great!
Even after several tries you can run out of time in 1st part but it 's a nice thing that pickups change location.
Loved the asthetic of this game.
I found it a little frustrating to figure out the mechanics of the minigame because you always had to fetch a new item before you can take another shot.
This is really fun! The idea is fitting to the theme really well, and the each minigames are simple yet different enough to be addicting. Finding out what to do in each minigames was a little bit hard, so it would have been better if the game had some kind of instruction with words. Also I love the cute graphics of the entire game. Great job!
Figuring out how the boss battle worked took a few tries. At first I tried mashing the keys that were highlighted for each item which only resulted in the beehive and the anvil disappearing right away. The shark simply goes spaztic if spamming A and D.
A countdown timer *3.2.1.GO* style would help with this a little bit, but even then pressing the wrong keys shouldn't completely dismiss the item, simply results in penalty of some kind (discard one bee, for instance)
A fun and funny project this. Well done!
This is a fun game, but I would prefer more explanation to be honest, took multiple tries before I understood it.
Also, a with simple game like this, WebGL build would be nice - I don't think there's any technical limit why it's not possible. :)
