@adrien-dittrick yay! You got it :D
Ahahahah.. I love this game.. The art is really charming .. Make more levels :D.. Also the end screen is prettyy cool.. Good job!
Wow I love everything about this. Music is simple but great, art style is beautiful, and the gameplay is simple but addictive. (and the little thing at the end was facinating as well) Great game!
Fun game! The art and sound was goo=d, and the challenge of getting around the level was fun! Great work!
Neat game! The levels were quite good, but I wish there was more :) The graphics were nice too.
The idea of having the music tempo and player jump height depending on the heart rate was really cool, but wasn't really used much in the game.
I like how you play with the music! Otherwise I would never got how this berry heartbeat feature is working ^^ You levels are challenging but have a good tempo. But my plant dried out 2 times until I got that the level is impossible without a restart xD after knowing that you have to restart some levels it runs really smooth. Its happy music and a nice animation as reward in the end :)
It is a nice idea of having everything connected to the heart rate. It is a very good jam game. Good work!
Very cool game, but it is not balanced. I couldn't pass level 3 (I might just suck at puzzles and parkour).
Dude that's awesomely polished game great design with the switches, berries Awesome
Generally I liked the game, it was fun to play the graphics was nice, the audio was ok as well, the levels were neat and challanging... Contorolling movement was sometimes frustrating (although I pressed space, I often run off platforms). It was worse, when you had to restart the level if you missed a jump... Starting from the beggining when I died was strange especially as I could restart every level any time. It was not a big problem, as it was usually easy to pass levels for second (or more) time. What concerns me the most is the graphics. Not that it wasn't cool, but I checked out the asset you referenced and it seems like your game doesn't only depend on it, but everything is from there. Have you added anything to it?
@halflemonstudios Thanks for feedback. That's very pertinent.
I did not adjust the controlling well, there are many mature solutions and trick I wanted to do. But the time limit is not allowed. My friend and I will do the time manage better for next.
Because of the same reason, I decided to use a non-commercial art asset. That made us have more time on level design.
And yes, I painted some little things such as the red/green trigger, plant and the animation of watering plant. I continued the uniform shape style and used the same color pattern.
You have noticed the weird of the game reset timing that was my immature design. Time is up but player not died, player win, game end. You would got the reason in the final level.
Thanks for the response!
Ok, I had no time for much more crucial features for my own game, so I understand :) Hope my feedback wasn't too harsh, I tried to make constructive criticism, only my English is not perfect...
Very well polished, the music really set the mood for this odd and silly-looking platformer! The bpm mechanic is really interesting, haven't ever seen anything quite like it before. The last level is the one that uses it well but it's also a bit fiddly as you had to wait until the exact moment to make the jump. I'm sure with a bit of tweaking this could be a pretty interesting core mechanic!
Thanks for the sad ending :( But good game!
Really unique little game. Great entry!
Very nice that the music tempo follows the heart beat.
Also, nice music and graphics. I made it to level 6, then I got stuck :)
Well done!
fun game, took me a while to figure how to double jump and jump against walls. At times it was confusing which things I could just through and which I could not.
Cool concept, and I like how the music follows your heart beat. I wish the level design was a little bit more polished, as some of them had weird frustrating softlocks. Nice work!
Nice entry. I liked how it began really simple but then you used clever level design to ramp up the interest. Good work!
I really liked how your bps affected your movement speed. I would have liked to see this played upon a bit more, maybe some more puzzles where you needed to use different bps to your advantage. Overall, I think it is a good start and I would love to play more levels of it!
