Not bad for a first effort, a simple concept but one that mostly seems to work. However I've got a couple of issues for you, the first is that the mouse control is really stiff, I don't have a lot of room for my mouse to move, and with the poor acceleration in the controls I found it very hard to play the game well, I did try opening the options menu to see if there was a setting I could change but the game hard crashed when I did so and the refused to launch again afterwards. I really liked the water effect you had for the hose/gun weapon, and having the splashes on the plant ground texture was a nice touch. Big thing I would do to improve this would be to work on a clearer to read UI, and have more feedback when you were actually damaging the robots as it was difficult to tell the effective range of my water pistol. Perhaps having them flash a different colour, or if you ahd the time, have a electric shock particle effect. The music was fun, nice job with that.

@historymaker118 thanks for the comment! It shed a lot of light on some issues and we'll make sure to focus on them to improve on our next game. Thanks for playing despite the difficulties and we hope you play another upgraded game of ours someday!

Visuals are amazing, but the menu isn't very nice :laughing:, one of the best implementation of this idea

I would really like to change sensitivity in options, also as @historymaker118 said it would be cool to see some particles or something while hitting enemies. Anyway I liked music and gameplay itself!

Really nice game and easy to understand! Nice graphics, lot of opitions in the menu, really good! It really gets the theme.

Cool concept, I think the particle effect for the water is a huge highlight, it looks very good and interacts wonderfully with the enemies and level. I think a sound effect for the water would be a good addition, and I think there was a bit of inconsistency with the angle at which the enemies would take damage. I found I had to wiggle the mouse around to make sure I could hit them. The models look great by the way, good job!

I thought the idea of having the robots come from all sides was really smart for an FPS, because you could never really see all doors at the same time. This would have been different for e.g. a top down game. I liked that the game had a clear title screen, ending screen, options etc. I appreciate those touches. The game's feedback was a little lacking for me. I didn't know how much health each robot had, and I think there were a few bugs I ran into (missed collisions with the gun, mouse cursor stuck on screen). Thanks for the submission!

@adamcyounis thank you 4 review

This was a cool concept and a cool game! Just wish there was a way to adjust mouse sensitivity. Also I felt like I wasn't hitting them when I felt like I was. All in all, nice job :)

Your menu is really complete and feels that a lot of effort have been put into it and the music is well made. The idea that your gun is as much of a weapon as a healing device is nice ! Your game is a great start but I think you need more time to work on it and make it fully enjoyable. The art of the robots, plant and gun are quite nice but they sit in a rather empty space that unfortunately serves them badly. Dev work is a good start too : no glitches or major crashes, only the collider box of the ennemies is maybe too small, it seems I can't hit them from the sides.

Overall I think it's a good project, full of potential but which needs a little more work to become a good game :)

Nice first entry. Simple though efficient gameplay. The music is good, adding a lot to the global mood. In my opinion the next step would be to add more feedback when things occur (when you touch a robot, your plant, when a robot touches you, the plant, etc.), to make the game more juicy. Juice is important!

Cool game! I really like the visual aesthetic. A hexagon is a cool shape for an arena (and the plant basin). Could even imagine a version where you move between adjacent "rooms" instead of just advancing to the next level (since hexagons form such a neat grid).

I don't think there was any sound, was there? A bit confusing with the audio volume slider still present in the options menu. If there is supposed to be sound, I'll have to go back and check it.

The one thing this needed, I think, was some feedback on when things are taking damage. This goes for both the plant (since the robots just wiggle against the basin once they get there) and especially the robots. It's good you added that little tutorial text telling me to make sure I'm in range to hit, but I don't think I have good tools to follow that advice. Maybe some classic red flashing on damage would fix this for both robots and plants in one go.

I like the water gun basic concept! Has a lot of cool applications I could imagine (putting out fires, maybe making some hedges grow, short some circuits, etc.)

All in all, cool idea, nice visuals, good job! Just needs a bit more feedback to player actions, I think. :)
