Quite difficult! I enjoyed your take on the theme, and the puzzles-that-give-you-letters!

What a great game! Creative and you used some good riddles, that weren't too easy, but not too hard either. It took me a bit to figure out that to "submit" your answer you just move into the thing blocking the way. I tried ENTER and SPACEBAR first, but that is probably just me being dumb :P.

Very fun! I like the riddles and wordplay. Art was very neat. There was a lot of moving that didn't really accomplish that much, but it gave it that classic RPG feel. It might have been cool to limit the number of letters you can carry, so that you have to give one up when you get one, or something. I enjoyed it a lot - cool music too. Very creative idea. Connection to the theme seems a little weaker than some (you start with TUTORIAL after all...) but that's OK.

Really like the idea of a spelling/word based puzzle game! This could definitely be expanded upon in the future!

A clever use of the theme for sure. I do like some riddles. Some of them were surprisingly difficult.

drjeebus 2019-10-08 04:13

Cool and interesting but doesn't fit the theme. You get a tutorial and letters to use starting out.

I love this game idea and I always enjoy word puzzle game. Though the audio and graphics come from library, they match the game style pretty well. Nice done!

I enjoyed solving the riddles. The writing was good. I made it as far as the punchy guard. Good job!

matthew-engurasoff 2019-10-08 13:00

Very creative, loved the style

While I got stuck with one of the riddles (how do i brighten the room???), It did not detract from my enjoyment. Liked the writing and the riddles. Great job!

Really creative use of the theme, but I couldn't get past the guard threatening to punch me. I wish there was a way to get more clues if you wanted them, because otherwise it just feels like brute-forcing the solution by guessing random letters.

Interesting game you made,a bit different from what I usually play but still a very good game, keep it up and dream on

So I got stuck multiple times (good thing I have access to internet for some of the answers) but I like the concept. It's a good take on the theme as well.

sheepdog123 2019-10-08 21:04

Couldn't figure out the first puzzle, but the graphics and music are great!

English is not my native language so I got stuck at the first word. I had to google for the answer... The other riddles were a lot easier for me, I only got stuck at the light guard and couldn't figure out any word that could make me pass. But it is a really cool game, nice art and audio!

phoenix-fireflower 2019-10-08 21:36

A very clever puzzle game. Some riddles are far more difficult than others in the same area, though.

kodiqi 2019-10-09 01:36

Clever take on the theme, starting with the letters of "Nothing". I played through to the end. Most of the riddles were good, the punch guard took me a few goes though. I think the level with the "brighter" riddle could be designed differently; I got stuck there not knowing that I needed an additional letter to pass as every other riddle on the right side of that level didn't need the new letter. If you were to expand on the idea, I think it would be cool if some riddles had multiple answers and maybe you earned extra points (or gold or something) if you use the more obscure answers. Maybe some kind of hint system for when players get stuck too (it could show where one letter of the solution goes).

Sadly couldn't get pass the bars. Not being a native speaker is a disadvantage I guess, but it was a lot of fun so far.

It's a nice concept with a cool execution.

It was not obvious to submit an answer by moving forward. I was already questioning my sanity with the first puzzle :D
