Unique choice of graphics, good choice
love the DF aesthetic, will definitely play and rate if ported to windows! (sorry.)
Very nice game ! Love the graphics ! Keep the good work !
Beautiful graphics. Would love to know what you made this in.
@badram you welcome! https://github.com/not-fl3/ld44/releases/download/ld44/windows_build.zip (its working on my ancient windows 8.1 machine, cant be sure about more modern ones though)
@slimabob libtcod, you can check our repo for details: https://github.com/not-fl3/ld44
I love the looks of the game. I found the game itself pretty confusing.
Interesting twist on the game Rouge, but I don't completely understand what is going on, besides taking humanity to destroy doors.
Dont know if this was intentional, but I managed to kill stairs
I'm very confused what's going on, but I love the aesthetics. Intentional or not, I killed stairs and couldn't stop laughing.
@supergamersgames the more humanity-saving way to pass the door - to open it. Interact with the door with "e" and it should opens. killing also works though
@sefrz it was unintentional at first, but than we decided that kill the stairs and stay in the tower forever is quite good for the atmosphere
this has been my favourite entry so far! i love the roguelike aesthetic, the mechanics matched the theme perfectly, all in all a great game.
ASCII is gorgeous
To be honest, I have no idea what I was spouse to do in the game, but It's a ASCII game made in rust, and that is enough for me.
I'm a fan of roguelikes (i'm not good at playing them but they have cool history), you've done the graphics justice, i love the raycast LOS, you can attack pretty much anything which is fantastic, in particular attacking the stairs! Using life in general as currency is a cool idea, i didn't expect to see necromancy come from the theme and now i feel stupid.
"Green eyeball" is mispelled as "gren eyeball", and trading things besides my own life doesn't seem to remove them from my inventory? Love the games aesthetic, it's beautiful. Humanity is for the weak.
The game is cool and makes contrast with other games on jam, I like it, although, without much understanding)
I don't quite get the message of the game, like, what is the goal? The aethetics is impressive.
@xiashj getting to the last floor supposed to be a challenge and a set of difficult decisions between humanity loss and bad deals. But during the jam we had not much time to balance it right, so enemies offers too many items and its quite easy to get to the last floor.
