I would have used Itch.io but due to unfortunate timing (Stuck at school who have blocked it) I've had to use Google Drive, hopefully it should work!

I think you can still upload it to itch, it's not cheating :)

this game was rad. Loved how the character (Banana in a suite?) bounces the whole time.

rjhelms 2019-05-04 02:44

That punch animation is a joy to behold.

nate-wec 2019-05-04 08:06

@gward2489 Was supposed to be a pencil, but thank you!!!

nate-wec 2019-05-04 08:07

@rjhelms Thanks, the game was always meant to be a little... silly.

Really nice game with a good humor aspect. 5 stars overall. Solid entry.

This is nonsensical and funny, you definitely get points for humour. As for the rest, well… I like that most features of the game seem really botched but you do have a game over state and also bothered to create two different moves for when the character hits!

nate-wec 2019-05-11 07:59

@samh Yeah botched... Totally intentional. The reason for the two moves was because this was actually supposed to be a FIGHTING GAME (I know right?) Anyway I couldn't get it working so I just kinda made a stupid plat former with silly humor in mind.

adamd 2019-05-18 16:12

It was fun to play, and amusing. I think it would have been good if you'd managed to get the fighting game working, worth revisiting in future. I like the animation and mad art style too.

acearcher 2019-05-19 00:32

The platforming was pretty good! I especially liked the small platforms leading from the roof back towards the office. The animations are impressive for something done so quickly, and the whole thing had this great bounciness to it. I do wish that there was a different screen when hitting the end, though. The way it is now, it seems more like a loss screen. Unless there's a "not enough" and an "enough" ending? I also had a bit of an issue with the debt cannons, most of the time it seemed like I was being hit with their blasts but not taking any debt. It's definitely a nice, quirky game that I'd play again if it was expanded with more area.

i yes dis gaem

nate-wec 2019-05-21 03:06

@acearcher Thanks for playing! I have no idea why the animations turned out so good but hey, if its good its good!!! Also there is a "Good" and "Bad" ending depending on how much money you have at the end haha.

zoneoutapps 2019-05-21 03:23

Great "indie" art feel! Keep it rockin!! :)

Not even having rated twenty games and asking to get rated on the start page is bad style! If everyone acts like that, no games get twenty ratings and the start page has no value.

This was a surreal experience  A Mac, Linux or web version would have been nice (not sure if GameMaker actually does that or not) because surprisingly it didn't run very well in my VM. Overall: a bit buggy, but it was fun! And enjoyed the animation work as well.

nate-wec 2019-05-22 01:17

To the anonymous commentor, Yes I know it's bad style and I apologise but I really wanted to get a proper ranking this time and due to a busy school schedule I didn't have any real time (Without sacrificing grades) to play and rank games, I did try my best to rate the games I could play fairly and give valid and useful critique.

nate-wec 2019-05-22 01:18

@udo Thank you so much for playing! I would have wanted to do mac, linux and web versions but I don't know how to do that on game maker. Thanks for playing!
