Great game with nice graphics. I like the music in the space. It feels like an entire game with a story and fits the theme.Great work! Keep doing games like this!

Good work! Not bad idea:)
Really like the theme here. My only real problem with it was the stars in the background were sometimes difficult to tell apart from the bullets in the foreground. But good job, I enjoyed it!
Great job on this game guys, nice art and the game feels like it's only one level out of many with a great storyline ! I think it need more sfx and more action paced music !
I tried playing the game 3 times, it froze with an awful delay on the shop menu. I'm not leaving a rating to be fair since I didn't get to play the game.
@frenziedp I fixed the shop ! Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you can enjoy the game now
Got to play it. It's an interesting take in the bullet hell genre. The mood and theme are on point. The graphics could receive some improvement and affect gameplay since everything is really flat making the hit boxes really small. the difference between hitting and missing is just a matter of pixels. I'd also suggest mixing up the enemies' shooting pattern. Going for like 3 shots in a row and then wait so players can avoid fire and then get in there to shoot. As it is now is basically smarter just to dodge your way around the world. There's a lack of game feel, bigger and flashier bullets, better feedback for shots received and given, maybe some particle effects and the likes of that. It's a good entry, keep at it!
The story was really interesting and well written, and it tied into the macro game perfectly. The music was nice and the art style fitted the game very well. I especially loved the ship design! My one real complaint with the game is that it was very hard to see the enemy projectiles in the shoot 'em up sections and I wasn't sure if I was dodging things coming at me that would kill my crew, or just background scenery. Making them larger, or the background stars a little less bright in comparison to the interactable game objects would have helped immensely. I really enjoyed the concept behind this game, and it's a great take on the theme. Awesome work, and well done for only having a weekend to make this!
Your game looks and sounds really well rounded and professional. Controls felt great aswell, but the gameplay was way too difficult for me. I can manage winning the first two planets, but everything is way too fast and too hard to see for me, but I probably just suck :)
Wow this is one of the coolest games I've played on LD! Love art style and especially the music (just fits so perfectly). Would have liked to hear some SFX in space levels, but then again technically there in no sound in space so touché. Great game!
I like narration in the game! It's really... cute? Don't know how to tell, but it's really good
@kiv Thanks a lot ! Did you notice that there were 3 story branches ? :nerd:
@yopox not yet, it hard for me to beat even easy levels:) But I trying!
Great game! I think would be nice add more feedback, when an ship is destroyed, also is very confusing the graphics of the space and the ship bullets is very difficult to identify what is interactive and what no, adding sounds can improve too. I like the way that the player can repeat the planets to play and earn more passengers to spend in the shop! Also the story  It's very challenging and engaging! Congratulations!!
Music is awesome ! Needs bigger sprites with small hitboxes.
Very nice Shmup with cool story, some explosions and sound effects would be awesome. The music was superb! I had hard time distinguishing the enemy missiles from the background particles (stars). Maybe try to make the stars in blue color. A bit wider spaceships would have helped as I sometimes was loosing the position on my own spaceship, maybe because the blinking while hit was in a too slow interval. Good job!
Very good, from the idea idea of choosing the places to travel, good idea.
The game is nice and has potential! Good job! :)
I love the game. Tried playing it without buying anything, but couldn't defeat the Baron. Tried again and bought upgrades, still lost. It is too hard to keep up with everything in the final level. It is also annoying when the background changes speed, and it throws me off. The graphics and the audio are wonderful and the concept is great, but the game is too hard for me.
@anthony-dunlap thanks! You could try farming the first level or the asteroid field to recruit more crew!
A good game. The only thing is that shots were really little. Good job!
