I like the lo-fi aesthetic. Art work is pretty cool. Also runs really well in the browser, which makes playing it a lot more fun.
The sound effects are a little harsh. Appreciate it's probably bfxr, but maybe altering the playback rate on them randomly (changing the pitch) would help to make them sound less repetitive.

This is really good! I love the powerups, and the visual style is very pretty. The movement was quite frustrating at the beginning, though you gradually get more used to it over time. Also, the camera sensitivity was way too high, it would be great if there was an option to adjust that. Good work!

I like the art, the level design is also good, the controller felt a little bit slidy and the fov a little too low for my taste, but not a deal breaker. Nice entry!
Great entry! I really think that the level design is great :ok_hand: The graphics are also working very well! Awesome job overall and impressive that you finished doing all this during the jam.
Some feedback:I would have liked some feedback like sound when taking damage from the acid (I think the lack is due to the time constraint though). I also would have liked the audio / sound in the game to be at the same level as the rest. Lastly, even though it is a great entry I think that honestly it lacks a little bit when it comes to innovation.

Hey, so the thing is, this game is fun. I really really liked playing it. The only thing is the graphics... I had a very hard time trying to orientate in the environment. Everything is too close you the camera. Everything has roughly the same color (good thing enemies are red though!). Walls are pixelated but seems to be done in the wrong way (pixels are changing constantly). When shooting, bullets covers the view. Probably it depends on the player's orientation skills, but... I knew where I was (fortunately), but often the only things I was seeing were walls. If it was fixed, the game would be just amazing. A little Portal-like - did you referenced to it (consciously or not)? I didn't rate your game on "Humor" since I didn't know what to out there. Oh and regarding graphics, first I was playing on web (if that changes anything) and second I see that you added chromatic aberration to the edges. That's a nice addition, I can admit. And graphics doesn't really look bad, it just could be much cleaner.
Congratulations on finishing such a nice entry on time :)

Glad people like it!
Oh yeah, I should have not have "humour" as a category...

The game was fun!
A few notes: I actually enjoy the graphics! The fov could have been wider tho (i got a little motion sick when playing). It could have been a bit clearer that i was sacreficing my health to get the upgrades.
But overall i liked this game :)
Spent about an hour playing it. Was really fun and challenging, especially towards the end! Like some others have said, I do wish the FOV had been slightly wider. The mouse speed was a little hectic also, made aiming harder than it needed to be. But overall I love the aesthetic and concept - great work!

Big entry! I loved how you unlock new abilities but at what cost? Also liked this powerups act as checkpoints... I couldn't have finished the game without it. Really enjoyed the lowrez although the camera dizzied me a bit, but nothing serious. A very good piece of art in overall. Thank you!
Only thing I didn't like is the narrow FOV. It was very disorienting at first, but once I got used to it I was able to appreciate the level design. I liked that the power-ups are used immediately and you can pretty much guess what they are going to be from the area around them. Good job on this entry :)

Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of games from the Ludum Dare, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/cFpZDUQu-Js

Really neat level design! The mouse sensitivity was way too high, but that might me a web version problem only. Also, the camera seemed to be too low compared with the jump height. I'd like to at least be able to see over the little boxes.
A bit more visual variation in the environment tiles would be awesome. Hopefully something more themey, but also to help guide the player through the maze. However, it wasn't as hard as the design was good and you learn to identify several landmarks.
Nice game overall and fun power-ups, good luck!
Love that low res 3D! Good work!
