Fantastic your game! It is very fun and creative... For me is max rating! Nice work!

lucc 2018-12-03 23:12

I love the cute drawn graphics, with the silly humour. Good job!

@lucc and @cristiano-t thank you so much!

Funny concept. Rotting corpses not only safer than spikes but they add to the decor

owl-and-jackalope 2018-12-05 03:52

@trusty, I guess no sacrifices were made at all!

patvanmackelberg 2018-12-05 03:54

Cool concept and really cute art :)

Nice concept, took me awhile to get the key controls down, kept popping guys in and out when I was trying to switch, I think that would just come with playing more, not really a criticism. I like the idea of having to fill in the pits to end the level. Great take on the theme.

Really solid simple puzzle game. All seemed to work smoothly and a pretty good tutorial progression. Great job for a first jam!

justalocalhero 2018-12-05 04:05

Really creative concept. Very clean, polished look, especially the UI. Nice sound effects. Nothing to complain about.

owl-and-jackalope 2018-12-05 04:16

@doug-graham thanks for the criticism. I too struggled with the controls (and I played it a ton), if I were to do it again I may have chosen to go with using something like Q/E for switching instead so maybe it would feel like a different motion all together.

tolga 2018-12-05 05:17

Cool man i really like your sound effects :D

vincent-blot 2018-12-05 17:15

One of the best game I've tested so far, very creative, nice sound and graphics :)

fireslash 2018-12-06 07:59

Neat take on the puzzle platformer!

Controls were a bit floaty for my taste, but very servicable. It took some work to get the muscle memory down, but I'm honestly now sure how I'd do it any differently.

It wasn't immediately clear to me I didn't always need to kill *all* of the peasants.

The graphics were lovely! Felt like a more whimsical version of Binding of Isaac. It fit the theme quite well.

Overall nice entry. I look forward to seeing if you do anything with it post jam.

tomaszlukaszyk 2018-12-06 08:59

Very clever, engaging and challenging. It takes time to adjust to controls (I kept pressing "w" to jump xD), but I understand the decisions. Graphics, sound, design everything is just perfect! If it wasn't for the length one could not tell it was made for a jam, great job! :)

owl-and-jackalope 2018-12-06 20:08

@fireslash thanks for the feedback, I didn't think about the not killing all them as being an issue. Thanks for bringing that up. If I do take this further I'll be sure to draw more attention to the actual goal being "disarming" all of the traps in the level.

Big Fan of this game. Graphics were tops, the audio was.....amusing. I havent laughed quite so much as i did in that moment you complete the first level to hear "do do do doooooo" hahahahah, loved it! Only criticism (and i hate to call it that), would be the controls but its a MINOR issue and actually, is just a difficulty curve to get around. Great job and congratulations.

An interesting game with a kind of mechanics. I put a rating) Please rating and me, thanks in advance)

codesity 2018-12-07 13:46

This looks amazing. The simple graphics are cool and the Sounds are flowing with lots of levels. The Idee is good and the implementation too. Good Work!

maycon 2018-12-12 07:17

Nice concept. Good job.

flaterectomy 2018-12-12 07:19

A complete package with a fun primary mechanic, cute graphics and solid sound effects. Control over the villagers was a little awkward at times; trying to hop back onto anot4her villager's head usually meant sliding off of it again. A solid entry!

I almost forgot to enable my speakers - would have been bad xD

arron-fowler 2018-12-16 11:54

Loved it. Simple and challenging and genuinly fun. The polish was all here too. Very well done.
