Nice little game, I liked the lighting. I was playing on a trackpad on my laptop so I wasn't able to escape even after a few play throughs. Not sure what happened in the shop, but I interacted with something and lost all of my energy, I am guessing that was how I was buying it, but it would be nice to give the user some feedback. Audio fit nicely with the game as well.
Nice looking and good to play, but I didn't found at first that there is a button to interact with)

Nice game! :) Played it to the end!
Thanks for the nice feedback. And you're right a small tutorial explaining how buttons look like and how the shop, buttons and ammo use up your energy, but it safly wasn't enough time.
I missed the interact button at first, but when it was found everything became much more fun. Thank you for the nice game. Executed very well. MOAR SHOOTERS!

Cool game. On the site instructions, it says "right click to shoot", but it should be "left click"
@janwalsh sorry! Totally missed it. Fixed :D

Nice game overall! However it took some time to understand how to open the first door)

Not bad, I love the ambiance and the weapon changing system. The music is nice too. I was blocked in front of the second door, I was searching for the swith all over but couldn't find it. So I shooted all of my energy into the door but nothing happened xD And then I could move but not shoot, I was blocked xD Nice one !
Sorry, @corbak we should have made it more clear that you can sometimes open doors by pushing buttons and sometimes by pressing E
Really fun!! Your energy being used for everything really makes you think hard about when to use it. Ran into two bugs - clicking on the about page sends you to the game over screen, and when I bought the armor from the shop, my energy went to/below zero, and I could no longer take damage from enemies or do anything as I had run out of energy, so had to restart. (Neither were gamebreaking or anything for me though, just mentioning them to give you a heads up!!)
@bubblewandgames yup,our game had a scope that was a bit too big for us so we didn't have much time left to debug :(
We're fixing all of the bugs as we go (without publishing the fixes as it'd be unfair) so every bug report is welcome! Thanks for the feedback ^^
@thevinter if I'm not mistaken, bug fixes are ok to add after uploading! "Certain Bug Fixes are allowed. You can’t add new features, but if something broke or didn’t work correctly as you were finishing up, you can fix this after the deadline. You are asked to highlight the changes you make in your submission (a short change log). "

Nice game. Maybe a bug: appeared to be able to keep shooting even though I had no energy.

Nice Game. Took me some time before I realised the second door doesn't have a button assigned to it. Having different types of weapons is also great. Art, sound and music aren't bad either.
Art, sound and design are really good for a Ludum Dare game. The whole level feels a little bit too much maze-like, maybe it would have deserved to be more ordered. The gameplay is classic but well implemented
As for the game's difficulty it's way too easy in my opinion. Not once did i get hit, making the whole "sacrifice" theme inexistant.
But it could definitely be a great game with a few tweaks, congratz on the submission !

The kind of entry that you want to play and replay. In effet it's fun and polished
@olivier-millochau yes, we noticed it a bit too late! The enemies drop too much batteries, thus you're not really sacrificing anything. Lesson learned, it takes more than a couple hours to balance a game :p
Thanks for playing it tho!

A nice, simple, retro feeling game. My only critique would be that energy is so plentiful that the gimmick of sacrificing it to power doors and such (which is nice!) becomes redundant. Ultimately, you almost want a survival horror level of energy/ammo sparsity but you don't want to let the player get so low on energy that they can't progress.
