I won a computer with only 3 attempts, physics is always funny 🥳

Very fun! I played it with a friend for a bit and we sucked but it was cool. Love the graphics and sound effects! Well done.

imer 2018-12-03 05:25

Quite random, most of the time goals would just happen without any real control to them

Graphics are nice though and the audio works quite well too

Didn't get to try the 2 player mode, but a higher end score for the 1 player one would've been nice

Very cool game! It's crazy how polished you made this within the timeframe. The music is great, the sounds are satisfying. I love the zoom in when a player is killed. I also love the round start animation. The environment is beautiful as well!

Amazing work for a 48 hour gamejam!

Thank you all for the kind words! @imer Yeah I was stretching at the end to try and get a tournament style mode done for the single player version but I couldn't make it happen in time

mcovert 2018-12-03 05:40

Wow; that's some nice polish! Simple, but nice!

wdelvi 2018-12-03 06:33

Incredible! Absolutely well done! I am extremely amazed by this. Some Rocket League mixed with fantastic pixel art and a side-scrolling view. I do find myself wishing for just a bit more control. When the ball is on the ground and not moving, it's difficult to reliably make it go anywhere.

theseusinabottle 2018-12-03 06:54

Controls feel a little slippy but then again I was controlling the equivalent of an Aztec baskett-ball so I can let poor controls slide.

azamatika 2018-12-03 08:05

Really liked how the heroes jumps, the physics. Nice art.

2018-12-03 08:25

The game is very reminiscent of a game I enjoyed in the past, 'slime soccer' and I bet I'd have even more fun with a friend. Though control over the characters feel very slippery and almost frustrating, it's fun to dunk or get dunked in a wacky unpredictable way. The art and music is also well made and also very thematic.

Good job! It's a really enjoyable game

sarwin 2018-12-03 10:09

Its a really cool game Its would be really cool if there was a small thing in the middle of the field to make the ball elevate when the ball touches it.

andrea 2018-12-03 13:07

Such a lovely fun game! I couldn't try it with 2 players yet, but it's definitely great with AI already. Awesome job!

vinay-rao 2018-12-03 13:42

This is one good looking game, which plays well too. I might have to get my brother in here for some 2 player in a bit.

Curious, I noticed it's possible to midair jump, was that intentional? Honestly, I'd keep that in, makes for some interesting play. Feels less like a bug and more like a feature to me.

fnissalot 2018-12-03 14:33

Nice fun multiplayer game, the theme feels a bit stuffed on at the end but otherwise nice!

sodaro 2018-12-03 14:50

Really good looking game! Was the fps uncapped? I feel like it might have been more fun if there was slightly more control over your speed... Anyways, nicely done for a 48 hour jam!

wongkongphooey 2018-12-03 20:13

Looks almost too polished for a 48 hour jam! Well done!

matthew-roelle 2018-12-04 03:51

@vinay-rao Yup! that's intentional, for 2 reasons. 1 being the code to disallow mid-air jumps would've been too complicated for the jam, 2 being I found it fun anyways! Thank you for playing!

gizmolo 2018-12-04 03:58

This was too fun! I need to get a friend to play against me now. Also what did you use to make it? Engine seems really good.

dalbinblue 2018-12-07 03:50

Ooh this is the first really fun game I've played. It was a bit random feeling at first, but after a few plays I started to understand how to control the character and make shots. I do enjoy it and need to see if I can get someone to play with me later. The theme felt a little weak, but game is fun, so kudos!
