Lots of depth. I really enjoyed it.

I like how the world becomes more and more instable :city_sunset: ! More explanations would be nice :)

Nice game, it has great potential, I got a little confused understanding the objective of the game, if I needed to save everyone or one of each, maybe the finals gave me hints of what to do next. Nice Job!

A clear 5/5 in Mood here. You need something to find out what you have to do at all, but after that it's quite good. The features are very basic, but overall the game works well and the overall concept fits, especially for 48 hours.

Looks nice but was bit lost what the final goal is.

Neat! There wasn't a much of a game there but was interesting nonetheless. Would have been nice to have a bit clearer indication of when the world was going to end (which I think the shakyness was about). Went for a second run now and it was quite clear very near the end but it was way too late to react to it at all.

The whole take/leave selection felt meaningless since I always just took them. Could have been just automatic or presented a bit more lore about the people with more interesting choices. For example some people could be bad and backstab you or something. You know, something along the lines of FTL events. Do the people you rescue actually impact the ending at all? I tried to go for a run where I only rescued only blue people but the ending was the same I think. I do know leaving alone or just with few people do at least change one line in there.

Also would have been nice to have bit of a different look on the buildings I've already collected from, it was very easy to get confused about your surroundings because of the similar looking buildings.

Turning felt a bit sticky, hasty and nauseating and at least those hourglass shaped buildings were floating off the ground.

But anyways, cool game, good job!

Cool game but I'm not sure what it wants to be. Does it want to tell a story (suicidal person tries to save everyone so he can die by the meteor)? Is it just a walking simulator with two endings? Or is the goal of this game evoking these questions? If that is the case you've succeeded. Or maybe I'm just plain wrong.

The graphics are nice, the controls could a tad bit of polish. Overall well done!

Thank you very much for playing and commenting.

I will give some spoilers here in the comments.

You can actually leave the planet with the big golden shuttle. But depending on the number of persons you bring of each category (each has its own color) you unlock various ends. However, you still have to bring a minimum of each category to start unlocking the various ends. This probably is way too cryptic!

antti-haavikko 2018-12-05 14:43

So I was along the right path on my deductions but the changes in the endings I saw at least were so minor that they were almost unnoticable.

chauchau 2018-12-05 21:36

Yes you were! Each line can change thus it is possible that only one changes from one run to another.

Awesome artwork, really nice game!!!

The game it's pretty cool, I like it!

Very, very good job! :muscle:

I was drawn in by the visuals, and the mood was well done. Impressive.

daniel-abeleira 2018-12-06 10:23

Great graphics. Nice work!

boundtotheearth 2018-12-06 11:28

Nice atmospheric game, but it didn't really feel like there was much to do. Since this is more story/atmosphere focused, some info on the various people that I was saving would have been nice. The style of the visuals was really nice.

fahrenheit459 2018-12-07 22:36

Mood and graphics are really cool Gameplay is simple but ok. It coukd be nice if we can clearly understant when does the world will end Timer ? Luminosity more evident ? Meteor ? Anyway very good job!

Neat game. I included it in my compilation video series of games from the Ludum Dare, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/8tDu1hDasJ8

Five stars for mood. The graphics are simple but very effective. I love how the comet comes closer and the planet starts to boil and shake. The atmosphere is amazing.

I have some comments on gameplay though. It may have been better to allow the player to move just a little faster. I know it's tough trading speed for atmosphere, but I feel some polish in that respect may have gone a long way. There was a very small delay between interacting with a house and being able to continue. That totally drained my motivation to save a lot of people. When I had around 10 I decided that's enough and escaped. I did play once more and tried waiting for the end of the world, that was very satisfying.

Overall I think the game sacrifices gameplay for atmosphere which makes it less of a game and more of an experience. Maybe that was intended, but I wonder whether you could have achieved both.

Anyway, easily one of the most atmospheric games I played so far. Great job!

Nice game, graphics and mood are really good!

Nice work!

Hi all, thank you again for playing and commenting! I just want to say that it happens that there is an actual visible coming asteroid in the game but it can be missed since the camera looks down on the avatar.

I agree with you all, I wish I had more time to think everything through!

geckoo1337 2018-12-15 18:32

What a cute game with a dramatic background story in-line. The main gameplay is interesting, and it fits with the theme as well as possible. The way we rotate the world is smooth - interesting in technical terms. Well done - you did a great entry. Thank you ++

Comme d'habitude, je ne suis pas déçu par ton entrée. J'aime bien ce que vous faites dans le collectif "le chant du cygne". Je vous souhaite le meilleur ++

**The Good:** Atmosphere was intriguing and graphics were fairly polished. The world and narrative was interesting to explore.

**Needs Improvement:** There was no goal to the game. Even if it's an exploration game it didn't explain anything and left the player in confusion. The control scheme was strange as well - moving forward and backward and turning sideways with arrow keys/WASD may work for tanks but does not work well for humanoid controllers.
