Thanks man ^^ @mateusboga
Room four got me good. I love the music! the art was also very well made. great game!
This game has great pixel art and the music was good too (I don't know if you made that yourself or not).
Feedback: - When the character stands still, the sprite shows the character facing downward no matter what. If you were previously moving upward and press space, you'll attack upward. Perhaps the sprite should show the direction you're facing when standing still. - The character moves too far after I let go of the directional input. Only happens when I hold it down for longer, not when tapping. Not sure what causes that
Yeah @dougdevs Thats mainly down to us using the Function MovePosition in unity.
And i would have done that, but we ran out of time. so we decided to just go with the static down idle
Thanks for the input tho ^^ will definitely try to take that into account for next Ludum Dare and when i update this ^^
@blobo Glad you liked it ! :slight_smile:
I like the concept a lot. The controls could be tighter, and can you please start us at the start of the level when we die instead of at the beginning? I'd play a lot longer if you were a bit nicer to us :) Great!
Use velocity for player movement. look up gamesplusjames on youtube for some tutorials
The concept is very interesting, I like the art and music!
We Are aware that the game is pretty unforgiving :) it might be a bit too Hard. but it was on purpose to let the People start All over 🙂 screenshot When you get through 🙂
Hey, i like the music and pixel is adorable. thanks.
It's fun! The controls were a tad slippery, but if I'd have to signal one thing that thing would have to be the fact that you have to restart all the game from the beginnin when you die, specially because there's no feedback when you're being hurt, too.
@daruudaruu Yeah thats one of the things i felt was needed too, i actually left in a bug that was supposed to do that. ( the guy turning darker when being hit ) but in the end i didint have enough time to add that :(.
And yeah the controls need to be reworked. I'd love top stop using the inbuilt Unity physics(and ontop of that we should have used AddForce instead of MovePosition) but i didint have time for that this time  But i am thinking of doing a Post Ludum Dare rework of the game. Since the art is decent ^^ the game just needs some tuning.
Your game was played on my stream ( twitch.tv/ursagames ) for the first day of Ludum Dare streams - you can find the timestamp of your game here: https://goo.gl/N2rkr8
Graphics and music are good, yet the controls put me off. I couldn't get past the second level for it since I could position myself right to attack the skeletons. Nice concept tho.
@ursagames just watched the post stream video :) glad you enjoyed it! not to spoil it but there is around 7 levels overall :) was fun to actually see other people play it :)
gave the game to most of my class mates. and only a few made it all the way out. it took them allmost and hour :D
Looks cool, but hard to play, still very interesting
aaargh -- the sacrifice to open the chest to get more health -- seriously -- nice work on this -- the controls were a little loose but overall liked the game -- thanks for making it
