Great job!https://ldjam.com/users/okuar Feels like completed tiny game. There is a lot of space to strategy and playability. Good sound and artwork. There is only some bug, I think that sometimes my warrior increase enemy's health instead of damaging them. In overall is it great game!
Nice game! I very liked the art and the music. Also, the theme fits perfectly and the sacrifices are kinda punishing, good move. What I find counterintuitive is that parties take turns, not characters. When a team gets reduced to one character, this one must be overwhelmed by a party of four, but it takes four turns instead. I enjoyed the game anyway. Thank you!

I felt nostalgia playing this game. It was a bit hard to me and I just won two battles before I died but I like it, good job.

This is really cool! I love the art and music. Combat felt a bit too basic though, however I didn't find that it hindered the experience. Good job!
Good use of the mechanics but the game was very difficult. I lost a large number of units on the first round (I was down to just soldiers and mages) and I would lose a lot more characters than I would ever get back. I never got beyond three battles.
I liked how the game gets right into it, no need for explanation/tutorial, it's just "go and play". I enjoyed the concept, final fantasy like battles but simplified, and the theme was well put into the game. Great job.
Loved the style and the theme fit perfectly. I did find it a little difficult but it was a lot of fun.
Nice work! I'm impressed at how full-featured and balanced (if incredibly difficult!) it is. My biggest hope is that you consider making combat go substantially faster, or maybe offering an option that let you do such. Each turn boils down to a pretty simple choice, so I think speeding though the animations with a little less wait would improve the user experience substantially.
Also, I always restart whenever I have a Cleric stack on top. Losing your first turn every combat for zero benefit sucks!!
Seriously though, I'm impressed how finished this is. With a few little QOL tweaks, this could really delight.
Simple but interesting concept. I feel like a few things are just too random though. The cleric should not just heal a random teammate if only one needs healing. Also I found it a bit strange to get random characters and that you can't see them before having to choose between sacrificing or ignoring. I feel like the best tactic is just to get as many assassins as possible so that they onehit every enemy and you can chain the attacks after each other, but getting the assassins feels very random. In general I enjoyed finding that out tho, good job!
Cool game, I love the concept. I wish their was less randomness - I would of liked to choose my heroes at the start and what their order was. I also wish I could choose who to heal as the cleric. Good artwork and music. I think that the your thumbnail could be a little bit better.

Oh my God I love the art style, graphics and music! They are so well done, I fell in love with it. Simple, but very cute game. Though the gameplay is a bit repetative, but it's definetly fun to play. And the tone of the game is very adventurous. Great work, nice entry!
Great concept and generally well executed. Graphics were cute, music was a little repetitive but gave a good driving feel to the adventure. Unfortunately the randomness of sacrifice cost, unit acquisition and battles was more frustrating than fun - particularly my cleric healing himself twice and almost never healing others. I feel the cleric should always heal himself first and then the character with the lowest HP - that way if he's still the one on lowest HP it makes sense to heal himself again - or let the player choose :smile: There's nothing worse than screaming at the AI "Why the $£&! would you do that?!" as you watch it troll your team and let everyone die.
A nice, well made game with quite a surprisingly large amount of content, and quite difficult - but very fun!
